Sounds awesome. I'll look forward to the June 11 edition. To any new members lurking on this forum, if you see this: don't hesitate to go to this clinic. JP is a good teacher and it's fun  to practice with clubmates.
This sounds mega.
@RileyHoonan  Looking at my work schedule, this seems extremely doable for me. I am 99% in for this one on the 11th. Unless something drastic at work occurs.
9am GWB Sunday to Piermont @ian ellis @vlad @coffee'ncakecrew

I'm in
I may do family man hours tomorrow to Piermont. BB 6:00am. Let me know if anyone is interested. I'll confirm this evening.

Riley, Scott, et al,

I think we're a big enough club that we can do two such clinics, one this weekend and one June 11.  There are lots of new people and there's no racing locally this weekend, so far as I can tell.

And, if we do it at Rockleigh, the crit course we pass on our regular Sunday ride, it won't be a hassle to get to.

here's the basic outline of what I"m thinking:

about 60 minutes at rockleigh

a few laps to familiarize with the course.

Several laps of a rotating pace line on the course.

a segment where we have two groups, a lead group and follow group, and people are supposed to attack the follow group and bridge to the lead group.

dueling lead-outs—we’ll use water bottles to mark the finish line, 200m, 600m, and 1k.  One person accelerates at 1k to 600, the second 600-200, the last sprints.  We could have two three-person teams do this at once.  They take a lap to chill, then switch positions.

Join.
Can we have a show of hands for the clinic? I might have missed something, but seems like everyone is Battenkilling.
I'm riding early cause I need to be back in Brooklyn by 11:00. Plan on leaving Park Slope at 5:30. Will be at BB at about 5:45. Text me if you plan to meet me. 917-922-0812.

Weather not looking great
anyone still riding
Yes
anyone going out later when it's supposed to be in the 70s?  i think i'll be at the GWB around 2 or 3 but i might just ride my cross bike in small circles in the park under the GWB while narrowly avoiding the small children and family barbecues
Who will come on my birthday ride? Sunday 8am BB, 9am GWB!
@JillSink where to?
Nyack along the dirt by the beach I think!
Anybody riding this weekend? I'm back to it after an injured month off the bike... or to put it in other words...

Yeah, we're ridin'
I'm good for sunday
Me too.
Beautiful day on the bike , and yes Jill , Turin is the same place as Torino
Fantastic weather and relatively empty roads made for a super pleasant ride to Piermont for iced coffee, snacks, and the final 20k of the Giro.
Anyone up for a group ride on Saturday?  I'm not racing white plains on Sunday, so looking to put in some good miles Saturday.
I am in
I'm in too - looking to do some hard miles.
Scott, Giacomo,Eddie really? Why don't we all smash up the watermelon crit?
in the middle of moving, so saturday will race central park -- on the guise that it'll have me home early -- the watermelon crit was a blast last year.

hm... yea, you are right I know, but I am not much a crit type of rider... but I will be at the Castelli series! We can smash that.
I'm in for a long ride Saturday. 8 a.m. BB 9 a.m. GWB. Will be looking to do some climbing, so thinking Bradley-Tweed -> Water tower -> Toga climb -> home.

I'm done with racing until after the wedding and honeymoon, otherwise I'd be all over Watermelon. Gotta protect this pretty mug.
