Anyone up for a Bear ride tomorrow?  Gonna play hooky from work tmrw.

The weather gods are highlighting rain, but it'll be warm, so no biggie for me.  I plan on leaving around 7am and head to Bear for some climbing fun, finishing at the brewery to catch part of the 1st WC game.

Jim and myself ventured north on (for me) unfamiliar roads , it was already an adventure exploring new roads on the east side through Harlem before we hit the OCA , riding through Yonkers and up to Ossining on some great gravel /hardback trails , literally through people’s backyards 
Ariving at the dam was awesome and Jim had tagged on some amaze dirt roads around it before a undulating last 15 miles into Peekskill , where a beer and some World Cup greeted us 
Nice to change the scenery!

Move over look-sharp, here comes casual Fridays. 

I followed in your footsteps, but I did it on Sunday (Saturday was for World Cup watching) 

just shy of 120 miles, probably a little less than 1/2 on dirt. 

Anyone else going to be at the GWB at 9am?  My hope is to get out to Rockland Lake or wormhole.  Haven't been that way in a while.  too long.

Dang... I don't get back from this business trip until Saturday evening. I'll be doing 3-4 hours from Brooklyn up toward Piermont on Sunday.
