In.

I've done most of it. Takes longer than you think it will and the first few miles are like riding through a back alley but then it becomes quite pleasant.

BTW, its very doable on 28's but much more comfortable on a bike with cushier tires.
Are the trails packed enough for a regular road bike? I don’t have a cross or gravel rig.
I could be convinced into this, altho the L&C race Sunday 7/8 is calling me too.

I think something that inflates to about a 28 would be OK. The surfaces aren't bad but it is bumpy. When I did it a couple years ago, my buddy was on gatorskin 28s and he was fine. I was definitely more comfy on 35s.

and what Eloy said.
That’s what I figured. My tubeless wheels are only 25s.

What does it mean that your wheels are 25? can you just put on some 28 tires?
Or better, buy a CX bike.

My road tubeless wheels currently have 25s on them and I don't have time or the setup (too lazy) to change tubeless tires before tomorrow.
I think we're talking about next Saturday right?
Ah, right... nevermind.

Anyone riding tomorrow morning from BB?
for time, you don't have to set the 28s tubuless, you could remove your 25s, and put a tube for the 28s.
(of course, I'll insist, if time really matters, buying a cross bike will be easier/faster)
Buying a cross bike would be faster in many ways, including how quickly my marriage would evaporate.

I have an old bike hanging on the wall in a state of disrepair, an old TCR frame in another room, and old wheels lying about. If I add another complete bike to the mix, my wife will snap. Need to sell off a bunch of old stuff.
I am planning on 9am GWB tomorrow. Maybe Clausland or Bradley.

Any joiners? Bring fluids and calories.
thinking more of sunday...
I need to go early Saturday. 8am GWB anyone? I need to be back 11:30am. 90 degrees @ noon too.
That sounds good to me. I'd prefer to get out early before the heat.
i can do 8 gwb
7am BB, 8am GWB sounds good
I’ll be there
We are taking River Rd for anyone trailing behind
Anyone braving the heat tomorrow?
Giacomo and I are.  Plan on GWB by 8am
I might be there tomorrow
Headed to GWB for 9am
Except I apparently have a flat

Are folks still planning on the Old Croton Aquaduct trail for Saturday?
