I am thinking of selling my Pika Packworks soft case. I believe this is it: https://www.pikapackworks.com/store/EEP-Standard-p122742761

I am quite sure it's the standard size, though I'd have to measure it to be 100% sure. I used it to take my bike to Italy (a 54cm 2006 Trek OCLV), and then leave the bike there lol, and a friend used it to travel back and forth to Belgium to do some riding with his bike. I did get it used and it's in good shape. If there is any interest I will think of a price... Hate to post it and have to ship as it's bear to ship...

Agreed, although I still have my Pikas (one for me, one for Lisa) from over a dozen years ago and they're great. I used mine this summer to travel to Toronto. I know space is always at a premium in NYC, but if you can hide it somewhere future you may be grateful.

I am on the fence. Amy and I have a 10'x10' storage unit and I'm quite good at Tetrissing to maximize the space, but even with two of us the space is filling up fast. The good news is that I don't think my mother is going to sell the current house for probably 3-6months after I move out so I have some buffer... Worst case I pick up more storage, I mean storage units are cheaper than apartment space  =)

Funny you should say that. I have my Giant track bike in storage which I haven't been able to sell, and just today I thought that maybe I can put it in the Pika bag and store it together like that in the storage unit...

I bent the rear der. hanger on my "trainer only" road bike (an old QR axle 10 speed) and somehow managed to both strip the screw and ruin the frame drilling it out. Old bike frame to the rescue - if I hadn't held onto my old Full Tilt Boogie (all praise to Edwin!) I'd be up a creek. As it is I'm back up & running with only a little bit of dusting off and a new chain.

Keeping old bike stuff is 99% foolish and 1% genius.

The reason why I replaced the Giant is that I don't fit on it at all. I had my saddle way way back to the point of bending the rails and a long stem and I still could not get aero. Foolish purchase as I didn't know what I was doing for track. But we live and learn... I also met Amy with that bike but keeping it around if I can't really fit on it does not seem to be a wise move... Anyway till it sales, it's still mine...

SOLD Selling this frame if anyone is interested. Late 80's/Early 90's Concorde Colombo 56cm I built up as a 10 speed commuter and absolutely loved it. The fork bent over time (not caused by an accident) and wasn't repairable. Looking for $100 for the frame including headset and bb.

Also selling the wheel set I used on the previous build with this frame separately - would bundle if interested.  Pacenti Brevet 700c wheels with Shimano freehub - Looking for $400

Kevin, also talk to Ride Brookly - they'll work with you on pricing and a new bike price might be comparable to a used model you find (esp after shipping and fees). I think they have the most room on Giant models, but they just gave me a super solid deal on a Cannondale.

Feedback sports omnium overdrive trainer. pretty neat, just never use. Looking for $200? MSRP is about $490. This is the one with internal progressive resistance so you can shift on your bike like on the road. If you have a power meter you can connect to Zwift or other software and record virtual rides that way. Easy to travel with since it folds down and comes with case and adapters for thru axle and QR!!
