Mine are the 4.5" drums. They roll super smooth. The frames are a bit scratched, etc.. but everything works perfect. New this set up is something like $800.

That is such a pro setup, wish I had more room. Someone needs to snatch that up.

While I don't have the stand, I have the other bits.  And that's all I have for indoor riding.  The headwind unit is pretty impressive.  When the "door" is only slightly open, it just about gives the resistance of riding on a flat road.  

I can do most of my intervals on it, though shorter than a minute, I can't get my power close to what I can do on the road--so I used them for form when it comes to sprinting.  But for VO2, Threshold, and Tempo, they're excellent.  

Just riding rollers seems to make cyclists smoother and more efficient.  It's an old-fashioned solution that really does work, and even the new-fangled contraptions can't quite replicate the training effect.

Another ask,

After finally getting my frame repaired, I noticed my rear wheel has a crack in it.  Any chance someone has a spare they'd be willing to lend in the short term or recommendations for a cheap set I can get while I sort out repair/replacement?

Hi Max, just confirming that it's QR and not thru axle? Haven't seen so many disc brake wheels that are QR...I've got an old disc thru-axle wheel (12 x 142mm) you can borrow. Assume you can bring over the cassette from your cracked wheel.

Depending on the hub, they often have a removable adapter that converts from thru axle to 9mm QR (and vice versa) but it changes from hub to hub (and not all have this)

Does anyone have a decent 54 or 56cm frame i can take off you? Building up a bike for my girlfriend (tall) with some of my spare parts as she just did her first sprint tri this past weekend and kicked ass, so is looking to take it a bit more seriously. She rode my bike for the tri and averaged 20mph with basically 0 training!

I don't have a frame that will help, but that's awesome!
