Looking for some (not so) free speed? The Roval Rapide integrated carbon handlebar reportedly  save you 4 watts. I assume that there is good data to back this up, but “people are saying” that it’s a scientific fact that you’ll look as cool as Remco if you have one on your bike. (Hopefully it doesn’t mean you will crash as often as the other specialized athlete Roglic).

I am buying a Tarmac SL8 Pro and needed a shorter stem length so am selling the stock bar which is 400mm wide and has a 100mm stem. Currently this size (and many others)  anre back ordered and unavailable through specialized. (I was able to find my size at Albert’s Westwood Cycles). Before I put this on ebay I am offering to any of you at a discount.

It’s a brand new (still in the box) bar with the integrated barfly out front mount and hardware included. This 310 gram bar and stem combo retails for $600.  Message me on slack if interested and I’ll give you a good price.

I am leaning towards $3500 ish give or take in any direction.

I am not 100% sure, but if these are the wheels I think they are pretty good carbon racing wheels, and the Dura Ace pedals are well, world tour level. So those should raise the price.

So let's say aprox $3500~$3750 ish ?

Is this your bike or one you are considering?
Google found a 56 with different wheels, in the range suggested above.

Looks like someone here is selling it on facebook for about $800. I almost feel obliged to buy it.
^ and no, it's probably not stolen. The used bike market here is nuts.
@Jules while the used market is nuts, I’d be careful of scams — like a broken/damaged frame or even no bike at the other end “if too good to be true…”

I would at least try to figure out if there’s a reason it’s so low.
agreed with Eloy. R5 is a fantastic bike and the 2020 is still current generation as far as frame design so that price seems aggressively low. On the other hand, even if the frame is trashed, the wheels and groupset would be more than worth it if all is in working order
just an anecdote - I ran into a similar situation a few weeks ago. I saw a Santa Cruz Stigmata for a suspiciously low price, but the profile looked real and even had favorable seller reviews. I reach out, and only after messaging back and forth for a while, answering my specific questions about the bike, does he suggest I pay him via this very convoluted Paypal scheme. So, the scams are out there and getting smarter.
Yep. The used bike market here is filled with really nice bikes. Same goes for cars. It seems to be a combination of thriving used-stuff markets and visitors unwilling to ship their stuff back home. Definitely will dig a bit before making a very long drive for it.

Anything that does not say it was used was never used. See pics below. I also have some other kit not mentioned, and if you come by and grab something of the same size, I'll just throw it in for free if you want it.

Located in Crown Heights. We can arrange PU whenever works for you. Thanks!

Billy
ill take #11
Sounds great @Mark. Shoot me a text and we can arrange pickup. 646-737-4762
Does anyone want to buy my Frankenstein bike? SOMA PESCADERO Steel 56cm road/gravel/anything you'd like bike! I was thinking $1900 for it but would listen to just about any offer. Text me if interested: 4408044145

I built this up a few years ago, but just haven't ridden as much. it's now my dedicated trainer bike and has been treated very well. It has proven to be super versatile. Just a tire swap and it feels like a brand new bike.

It's smooth and comfortable, would make a great winter bike and I used to even use it as my gravel bike with 40mm tubeless tires (see photo #2). Currently it's in "road mode."

Specs:
- full Shimano 105 11-speed groupset
- Silca waxed chain
- carbon seatpost
- Ultegra crank (50-34, 170mm) with one-sided stages power meter
- Lun carbon 30mm depth wheels. Pretty loud hub lol.
- Brand New Continental Gatorskin black edition 28mm tires with lightweight TPU tubes (RideNow)
- just installed Wolftooth link on the back, so there is a big 11-40T cassette
- light scratches from normal wear
- brooks b17 saddle, basically new, can knock off 90 bucks if you want the Fabric Scoop one I have on now (underrated cheap saddle btw)

Selling a pair of mounted but not riden, Teravail Washburn light and fast 38mm
gravel tires $40 , not super plump when mounted may be good for someone with an older bike that hasn’t got massive clearance
@Mark Taylor

If no one else expressed interest yet, I am interested.  I gather these are the light and supple, which I'm guessing is what two of the symbols indicate.

Don't know if they'll fit in my cantilever Aloominator, but I'm curious.  If they don't fit, I'll repost and get them to another home.
@mugwump
ill bring to the shop Thursday
I bought one of these mounts to hold my ipad on my bike when we moved. I have aero shaped bars, but the company sent me the round bar version by mistake the first time. It's been a nightmare getting it returned and refunded, it got sent back to me, but I got the refund anyway so this is free. Anyone want it?

I wouldn’t mind taking it!
I wouldn’t mind taking it!
sold to LZ :)
that's cool. do you like @BlakeFoster?

I do! I thought it was finicky at first but now it’s easy. I have to swap out my head unit adapter each time (not the whole mount) but tbh it takes 20 seconds max so I don’t mind.

I’m happy with it and use it for all my indoor rides
I am doing a little spring cleaning of my bike stuff. A mixture of new and used stuff. Everything in good working order

For the most part I am open to your best offer. I would like them to go to a good home. A couple of items are new and I would want a fair price.

So here goes in no particular order:

Champ Sys Kissena Time trial long sleeve skin suit in Medium with old sponsors (Redbeard). I only wore this for a handful of TTs, so it's in good shape (Chamois as well). Note that the zipper is in the back (annoying) and there are no pockets.  Otherwise its pretty fly $40?

Next is a new pair of Sealskinz large waterproof cycling socks in Kissena colors. I bought two pairs of these and have used the other pair when riding in wet and muddy conditions (park races and cross). They do a good job of keeping feet warm and dry. Note that they are thicker than your standard socks but honestly are not as bulky as would be expected given waterproofing $20?

New Specialized S-works Turbo tubeless ready tires 700 x 26.

Pair for $60

POC Ventral Air Medium in Orange! Lightly used. Clean $50?

Cross is coming! Pair of New Donnelly MXP cross tubulars 700 x 33. Pair for $80?

Want to experiment with the tires that Tour magazine (in 2017) called one of the fastest in the world? Okay, I don't think that its still the case, but these seem like an interesting pair of tubules tires to setup if  you're looking to experiment. Read more here. Pair of Compass Bon Jon Pass 700 x 35 tires (mounted - not ridden). Buy me a Latte

S-works P{over saddle with Mirror (width 155). Carbon base and carbon rails. This has gotten some use so the saddle has some sheen on part of it. Retails for $450. Asking $150

New in box Lazer G1 Mips helmet Large in Orange. Asking $100

Time ATAC XC 6 pedals used $20

Want to improve your bike handling and the fluidity of your pedal stroke? Rollers have you covered and you won't wake up your downstairs neighbors. Cyclops aluminum rollers. Asking $50

Rapha on the bike coffee thermos (designed by Frank Green) that fits in your water bottle holder. This was a silly purchase that I used once. If you feel so silly buy me a latte and it is yours

New Specialized Power Pro with mirror saddle. Carbon body with ti rails. 143 width. This is a new saddle the has not been used. Asking $225

Pat I'll take the socks and coffee mug!
I'll take the rollers Patrick, thanks!
We can arrange handoff on Slack
Bought these bib shorts from Billy but they are a bit too short for me. Reselling for $40.

These are the ones with a sly pocket on the side.
