Admittedly this is off topic. But.. there are enough wino's in the club that it may be warranted, and I would rather ditch it here than at craigslist to some wack job. Yes, thats right. I want to deal with a whack job in spandex.

Anyway....

Ge profile wine fridge for sale. Out of the box holds 29 bottles, I've got close to fifty in there. Less than one year old, purchased new by me out east at the local PC Richards. Perfect size for an apartment dwelling oenophile. Very quiet, it's actually in the bedroom of my house next to my bed. Have the PCR bullet proof extended warranty, included with. Have a Eurocave coming, so sell this I must. Want to say the balance of the warranty is... 3 more years? Will be happy to check the receipt when I'm at home, which if course is included in the sale.

To be sure, this model has a compressor with vibration reduction, digital read out, and is not the typical POS you see from avanti. $250, and I will be happy to drive it in to the city at some mutually agreeable time if you don't feel like coming out east, drinking a lot, and hanging out with me at the beach prior to returning home. Fits in the back of a VW (barely). Contact me off list for details.

i have discovered a cracked rim. is this the sort of thing that is under warranty?
Wind trainer for sale. Be sure to read the comments

If you've signed up for the MP3 and are w/in three years, definitely. Otherwise, you better check with them. Start with the website. know how old the rim is, if you're the original owner, is it a defect or from use.
hahaha awesome, the best are the Q&A

Wheelset for Sale:
Edge/Enve 1.65 Tubular rims (65mm deep), Alchemy hubs (black), Sapim CX-Ray spokes (black). 20H front, 24 Rear. Shimano freehub.
Professionally built by top local builder (Eric Gottesman).
I've raced these less than 20 times (some park races, Pawling). They are built stiff and strong enough a 175lb rider, but only weigh 1230g
They are round, true, no scratches, cracks, etc, etc. The rims are about the last batch from 2010 with Edge decals, before the switch to Enve.
As these were custom you get them like I got them: (no wheelbags, brake pads or skewers).
$1150

Front Wheel
Exactly the same setup as above (alchemy elf hub, CX-Rays) but built on an Edge 1.45 rim, which is only 45mm deep. I swapped in this wheel for windy days, and it's probably been used 6 or 7 times. Like above: Excellent condition.
$450
Does anyone have a low stack headset dust cover laying around?

ideally in black and <10mm?

Thanks!
Thought this would be a good thread, I don't believe we have one like it.

This is for those moments when you really need that special part that you can't afford to buy but can't stand the thought of racing without.

Or when you need somebody's trunk rack for your rental car.

Or when you (Jeff) want to borrow someone's (Ragot's) bibs.

So, I'll kick it off:

Anyone wanna loan me an AERO front wheel to help me minimize my losses in the TT at Killington this weekend?
Arrow?

I am going to glue up my Reynolds 50mm carbon tubulars, and you dirtbags are welcome to use them for the TT. They're about 1200 grams.
Ha! I did write "arrow" didn't I.

editing....
SAw this on another list. A rack for those with a car.

from the nycx email list, if you're not racing cross you don't know what you're missing.

Cross folks,

I'm moving and thinning out the stable. I've got an older model 56 cm Performance Scattante aluminum cross frame, fork, HS and a 110 mm stem up on Craigslist. I rode it in two SICX races. It's no Ridley or a Sachs but it'd make a great platform for a starter bike or a second pit machine.

http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/bik/3052808142.html

give a call if you're interested.

Patrick Farrell
Hi Club,

I'm looking for a frame / bike for a friend who wants to start riding casually and join us on our bike tour. Here's the catch: she is really short. Maybe 5 feet tall.

Anyone have anything around?

We're moving.  Unexpectedly (well, not that unexpected, they're moving to Africa) our new landlords have left a queen sized mattress & boxspring.  Appreciate it's a little weird, but they look clean and will get carted out to the sidewalk on tuesday morning if nobody wants them.

Free, but for the headache of hauling them out.

if you have any questions about mattress shopping, please see Marc's dissertation here:

As many of you might know I'm going hiking in August til December, after which I will be moving out to California, followed by hiking the PCT, Mountain biking the great divide, canoeing the Mississippi, etc, etc.

Hence I have a lot of shit I don't need.

1) I want to Pawn my Kurt Kinetic road machine pro to someone- 200 bucks, you use it all you want. If I decide to come back in the Spring I'll give you your money back and take the trainer back, if not you got a great deal and get to keep it. Simple.

2) Jamis Ventura comp as posted above. Asking 500obo. Will part out cranks/ rear drlr

3) Drafting/ Arch tools- tsquares, lead holders, brushes, art pencils, h-6h pencils, triangles, etc. Free

4) Park DS-1 Scale, used once, missing battery cover. 25.

5) North Face Terra 45L backpack, used on my SF- Vegas hitchhike, pretty much brand new. New- 100, asking 60.

6) Castelli sleeveless small black/ white full zip jersey- free

7) RYBLYC craft jersey, small, free.

6) Pictured below- Sram white bar tape, Shimano s44 shoes used, specialized wireless computer (battery dead), bento box, Speedplay cleat cover/ pedal cover (one each, if you lost your other one, as I have), Cyclists training bible (boring as F**K), Vittoria ultralite 30-38mm tube, 2 kryptonite locks that take seconds to cut, multitool with light, bike hooks, bike holder with custom wood pegs that let your bike's wheels sit against the wall, tifosi sunglasses, Panasonic portable dvd player, acer hd 21"? monitor (broken on/off button but turns on when it gets a feed).

All FREE except for dvd player & monitor- give me an offer for those.

(I know there's a lot of pointless shit listed there^, but if you don't take it it's going in the garbage. Hopefully someone can get some use out of it)

Thanks,
    Wojciech

Christian
William,

Is the DA 10 sp cassette available? 7800 or 7900?

Thanks,
Christian
Hi All,

I just started a wheel building project and would like to use a truing stand. Does anyone have one they'd be willing to lend me? I would likely need it only for a couple days.

Thanks,
Christian
Christian,
You should also get a dishing tool.
Thanks. Will probably use one for the rear wheel. Just built my first 32 spoke front wheel without issues (except re-lacing four times)...I trued it using my brakes. Does dish really matter for the front wheel?
