Josh,
The other day, I had that problem too!

Try it again http://www.doodle.com/y7nm59mvyq8fdtmq;jsessionid=B1D5765158899ECE876AFC30E123B7DE.worker2

Sadly for you, Monday, December 5 is looking the strongest. You're the only person who can't make it.

all,
Voting closes tomorrow.
I removed the sessionid bit and it worked for me:

joe,
Thanks.

ALL,
It's really close, but it looks like THIS THURSDAY HAS IT!

Neill,
Please book the room and share instructions.
JP's talk will be in the conference room at my office this Thursday.
The address is:
79 Fifth Avenue (5th Avenue between 15th & 16th Streets) in money-making Manhattan.
You're going to RED Distribution on the 15th Floor.
The door from the reception area into the offices will be locked and the receptionist will be off duty so I'll check every few minuted to let people in. If you're stuck out there just knock on the door. if that doesn't work call me on my cell at 917-579-6580.
whoops..typo..
"minuted" = "minutes"
At what time this Thursday? I think there was a 7:10 and 7:30 option.
Nathaniel,

The 7:30 option took the day.
I will be there. It's been a long time. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone.
Cool - just found this thread - I'll be there. Me and my spare tire are both looking forward to it....
Hey, i'm the new guy. Just found this thread. If this is open to all, I will stop by tomorrow for this.
All,
The date and time are set. If you want to come and you haven't signed up, you still can come. I'd love it if you'd add yourself to the Doodle poll so we know whom to expect.
Thanks so much for the talk tonight JP! It was great to get all that info & to meet all these guys for the first time. Looking forward to Sunday.
JP,

Thanks for running the show last night. Lots of great info and it was cool to see/meet some fellow Kissenas!

Neil,

Dude, you work in an awesome office! I felt like I was in the Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame last night.
Thanks JP for another informative talk! Thanks Neil for letting use your office.
Posted By: josephmuellerHey Ros,
Let me know if you need a M kit.
Thanks man!

Looks like I'll be needing a Large size kit actually, but I really appreciate it! If you know anyone with some Large-sized jersey's / bib's they have extras of, let me know.
I second Ros. Thanks, JP, for a very informative talk.
Just wanted to chime in myself and say thanks to JP for the great download on winter training, to Neil for being a gracious....and good to see all of the rest of the Kissena crew. Now, to the winter pain!
Thanks JP for the meaty and motivating talk, and Neil for the generous hosting and Vitamin waters... Kissena roller race now!
Hey guys, any more printed training guides left over? If so, can I grab a copy?
Maybe JP can attach a file here, I think I have a paper copy somewhere.... I found a digital copy of the tactics talk over on the old yahoo group but no training talk file.

Thanks mperlberg!

Hey JP, can you make soft or hard copy available? Thanks!
Could be quite fun to train with Cav!

Ok folks, we are in the belly of the beast here... Let's hear/see/read about the Insane Stuff being done indoors In the name of braking men's hearts come spring...

Best trainer movies, music, view (is anyone hard enough to go "full jens" and sit in front of a brick wall for 4 hours?)

I'll submit my personal best; 3.5 hours watching 2 back to back Kung Fu movies - at the end of which I was ready to throw my trainer down the stairs and scream "how do you like me now bitch!?!"

....
Jens doesn't ride inside. He does seven hours in -10 Celsius weather wearing fleece booties, shorts, and a light jacket.
I'm looking for other suggestions on trainer activities.

Generally, I either do pyramid intervals or TT efforts. Found a bunch more online, of course, but thought you all might have some favorites.
6x1 minute maximum effort, with 1 minute rest

15 minutes endurance pace then do it again

Godspeed...
I downloaded some of The Sufferfest videos and am enjoying them immensely. Makes riding the spin bikes in the gym much more tolerable. This morning I didn't have much time to work out, so I pounded myself to a pulp watching "Downward Spiral". Much better than that Carmichael shit I was looking at last year.

ahahahah
@Nathaniel - do you watch those on your iPhone? A laptop?
Jeff --if you're not doing so already, you can work strictly on leg speed to smooth the pedal stroke and get comfy moving those handsome legs like the jet turbine rotors they are destined to be!
