Konrad and I are meeting in piermont at 10am to roll to bear and back. The route isn't set, but I'll probably back road it. If it's wet, we cancel.
Marc,

Lemme know if wednesday works. Tomorrow morning looks rainy and I'm still fighting off a sinus infection. So I'll be doing a very slow roll. Just cant pass up 67 and sunny!
I'll do the double on wednesday if it's pre noon.
want a festival of hammers for Wednesday. Not sure when I can start though.
Wednesday sounds cool for me.
10 @ GWB tomorrow? Too late?

Keith may come for your hammering, JP. I will be the Nerf foam-anvil.

9 it is.
jp, 9?
can't do 9. Sorry. Feel free to go ahead. I'll be starting up by 9:50, so 10 at the bridge.

Guess it will be hammer for one.
I'll be with the later crew...at 10.
whata day!

al, keith, owens, and my friends k-tel and JT met at the bridge and hammered up to the top of tweed via 9w

i was supposed to be doing 10min threshold intervals, but i was having SO much fun that they ended up being WAY harder than they were supposed. no doubt ragot will strip my hide at happy hour tonight. still, set power records for 6-10 minutes, so i'm PUMPED!

we took the river road down to piermont, where we ran into Konrad and, moments later, a certain D. Reiners.

rode JT's Specialized S3 w/ Red for a few miles - gah! pretty damn nice. still . . . ain't nothing like the taint-scarring ride of the Caad9. ALUMINUM 4 LIFE!

finished it off spooning down pinkberry with Al and Reiners and watching the college girls near columbia debut their spring collections.

level of sunburn TBD

also . . . if somebody dropped their large purple vibrator about a mile north of Strictly . . . it's still there . . . i made keith leave it alone
Most fun ride. Hadn't ridden since the first spring series 10000 person cat 3/4 gangbang clusterfuck race 10 days ago, and this was a great way to expel the rest (hopefully) of my sinus infected snot. Glad I didn't get dropped.

Reiners needs new tires. I do too.

Only got yelled at twice. How can people be so angry on a purdy day.... Ahhhh, NYC hate knows no end. Gave some folks directions so it cancels out the karma meter though.

See y'all this weekend I hope. Looks almost as nice.
JP and I were out for an inland Jersey ride out to Saddle River. I feel bad that he couldn't make the 9am hammer fest, because really, I'm not much fun to play with these days. However, obvious head and crosswinds, with me sucking wheel, ensured that he did the brunt of the work so hopefully he still got in his watts. I know I did. Endurance/Tempo on the flats, ripping it up the climbs--exactly what I was supposed to do today.

rode River Road last night &was super nice, silky smooth...road has been swept and the mile markers are painted at half miles in yellow from '0.0' to '8.0'. i suspect marks are for the NYC Spring Series Time Trial? note: if you do go out late a. bring your lights & b. be aware that some gates are open and some are NOT...close call.

Speaking of that Time Trial... has anyone done it? Whats the word on TT bike vs road?
Met up with Konrad in Nyack around 10:30. We rode low tor to gate hill to bear. 70 miles/ 5.2k of climbinh for me, over a century for him since he rode in from Newark. He pounded on me on the climbs, I pounded on him on the flats and descents. It was a symbiotic relationship. Toasted now, hopefully added some definition to my tan line. http://app.strava.com/rides/5209679
Yup, pleasure running into William and crew today. Waking up at 7 during spring break is not good for my brain and I totally misinformed Will stating I was a junior when I realized about 15 minutes later that I am actually graduating this year (even after clarifying that he meant school and not race age). Ma b.

As Mattie said, we kind of just pissed each other off in the best ways possible. I think I hit just under 120 for the day.

Tomorrow's looking pretty nice too... anybody thinking of getting out?
Probably gonna be at GWB tomorrow, 10am. 80 or so miles, nothing too hard. Haven't ridden in a week.

Looks like 75 and mostly sunny.

someday good buddy
great times today with Jeff and Keith

we did river road to alpine, then they let me lead up to piermont while i did the firs tof my two 10 minute intervals. dudes were gracious enough to toodle around to the pier with me as i had a rest, then we went straight up ash and tweed, and took a left at the top for another 90 seconds of climbing to round the interval out to a solid 10 minutes

lots of lols at bunberry, plus jeff showed us some of the ridiculous pictures that 22yo girls from OkCupid send him . . . how does he do it?

so, up to this point, jeff had been complaining constantly about his legs, his stomach, his head, his hangover etc, but apparently Tweed made him sweat it out, cause he MOTORED us back to the bridge. he went so fast that we straight up dropped keith, who had a full on 1k yard stare when he caught up again (i mean . . . more so than usual) but owens gave him a bar and another peek at his iPhone and soon keith was smiling again.

on the ride back we found new Kissena Ty Hatfield fixing a flat and we rolled downtown together - nice meeting you dude! shapely calves!

have a great weekend, fellow Oranges!

i will be tearing it up on the MTB trails in philly this weekend. if you hear someone getting rad, it's probably just me.
