I love how dynamic the Tulsa turns appear, it is pretty awesome to watch, and how much in command the front is -- worth mention this is not just some random Euro that showed up..., Lamperti is crazy talented and grew up racing crits all over the US, he is a former US national criterium champion (21 or 22 I think)
I do love that some of the Americans racing for mostly Euro/International teams make the point to come back for the crits, which reminds me of this EF video following Coryn Labecki a little bit ago...

I started watching the new season of Unchained and am through the first 3 episodes. Not sure if it's the edit or just him but Ben O'Connor seems like a difficult person to be teammates with

I think the series leans crazy hard on the dramatic moments, and yes, Ben O'Conner seems to really struggle with both fitness and how he reacts to frustration.
I wish they emphasized a bit better the fun moments of the race, for example, when the Yates brothers got away (which they show, but its shown in a very competitive light)

I hope that it’s a fair reflection of his personality , because that show definitely leans into a narrative when it comes across one

I haven't heard of them but that looks like a Cervelo S5 with a few tweaks. According to their website they're an Austrian company. I'm curious how they arrived at a design so similar

If everyone uses the same models to calculate aerodynamics, all the bikes will end up looking the same I guess. Same with cars

It's a bit more than that. I dropped by Verrazano bike shop to look at bikes, unknowingly on the launch day of the Trek Madone, which basically rolls up the Emonda into one lightweight aero bike.
I gotta say, it felt and looked really good. Incredibly light but durable, the paint job looks sick, and the aero bottles were a nice fit. The cut out seapost looks cooler in real life than in TV. The cockpit felt just nice.
The top of the line model’s price tag though, $13k…I’m good lol.

This is sponsored content so low on the trust scale, but ignoring the shilling part it does a reveal how large/sophisticated some of these CM/OEMs are - seems like pretty significant operations and investment and they allude to building wheels for top brands.

We deeply apologize for the issue with Luis's wheelset, and we're glad to hear he's okay. We also greatly appreciate Luis's honesty and transparency. During our discussions about having Luis review the product, we never requested a positive review, as we've always been confident in our products. It's clear that this failure points to a QC issue on our end. After investigation, it was found that the problem stemmed from the rim being too thin in the area mentioned in the video. Our QC process did not previously have detailed standards for internal rim width checking, but we've now implemented more refined guidelines and updated the QC department accordingly. We welcome and do not shy away from anyone pointing out flaws in our products, that's what helps us continuously improve.
