I think I hate Dan for how quickly he's seems to have found his form after his time off. I think it took me like 7 years to get back after I took 1 season off of racing...

Seriously though, very impressive Dan! And Eloy and Brian too. The seeds have been planted for another strong Cat 4 crew I feel!
Marc

Feel the hate flow through you. Good!

Looks like Foundation wants to put the hurt on.  Dave Jordan will be there, no doubt.  I could use some help for the KOM, and Silver jersey.

123s, who's in?
Bruce! I'd love to help you but I'll be out of town next weekend.. ugh. Rest assured it won't happen again and I'll be there for the subsequent races.
Bruce, I appreciate you thinking I'm a Cat 4, but I still have my Cat 5 dues to pay ....  I'm out this weekend and nextas I'll be crushing Taiwanese Mountains on my roadie.  So at least my legs will be in good shape for the Castelli series starting April 16.
I'll be there.
I'm trying, should make a decision by Wednesday. I may not get on my bike this week besides openers Friday...we will see
BUMP - First one is this weekend!

Cat 4's what's the plan? Who wants a jersey? Who wants to get up early and do registration? Who wishes it was lighter and 10 degrees warmer at 6AM on Saturday so it wasn't so hard to do this bike racing?

Who wants to glue my tubulars on, because I've been neglecting it since the end of CX?
I would like to do it, but I still don't know. I am in the process of moving into a new Apt at the end of the month, but hopefully I can make it... let's see. I will decide later this week.
I think I can make it, kind of depends on how Saturday is looking as far as life stuff goes. This year so far looks like pre reg is filling up quickly so yeah that might affect my participation...
GiacomoVischi thanks for volunteering to glue my tubulars, do I drop them off at the new or the old apartment?

Bruce,
I'm doing this Saturday , http://divi.hellofhunterdon.com/
so i don't think ill be able Sunday , next time

hahaha alright, new apt is good. I'll put it on my to do list as I move in I guess
Hey @Bruce van-Schalkwyk, I signed up for the 4's and would love to help the team get a jersey. I could help in a lead out train if possible
I'm starting to feel the love.  Looking forward to racing with everyone.
I'm ready for new 2016 pics.

Lookit Chaim and me pulling the group up the hill.  Here I am practicing the art of, once I saw the flashes, quickly wiping the snot off my nose and closing my mouth to look casual and pro.

Who can forget Patrick, on the far left, picking up points.  I'm in the center, head up, looking for the photographer.

And here's an oldie but goody, with Phil in the yellow CRCA jersey, I'm in the blue PP, and I see Jim off my right shoulder.  We're racing against each other!  And now that we're teammates, well, we still race against each other!  We just call it teamwork now.  Boy how time changes language.

Registered for the 5s!!
See you there Eddie.
Let's meet up for a ride on Saturday morning & talk strategy @MaxThorn
Just registered for the 1/2/3.  Hoping at least Jeff Condon and Yack will join.
Any other takers?
Also in. Will likely be a little tired from the meet kissena ride on Saturday - down to burn my matches early in a lead out if another five is feeling strong
I reg'd for the 1/2/3 but my fitness is probably that of a mid-pack 4 at best.  just looking to do a race.  frankly, I'm only in it for the race to the muffins and coffee afterward...and to see how long I can last before Yacks drops me

I invite those who are similarly unfit to come out of the woodwork.  I'll turn to my fellow Kissena's for moral support when Charlie tells us we've been lapped and must pull off.  I'll even consider wearing my L&C yellow jersey if you think that's appropriate.  to make us feel okay with ourselves.  *sobs quietly to himself*

Looking forward to seeing folks this weekend!

If you're in northern manhattan (I'm at 181st st) and need a ride to the race please let me know, rigby.b@gmail.com, 774 219 4511, maybe I can accommodate you with my jalopy's 2-bike rack
I am in for the 4s. Look for me hanging off the back struggling to keep my tongue out of my spokes as I hold onto the field with my proverbial fingernails.

If I can help you Bruce I will try, but don't look for epic pulls or barging up the hill to shut down other teams points.
I will be at the start  on the sideline for moral support and taking pictures. I'll see how my FTP increases in the coming months so that I can join in and have fun with you guys.
Hey @EduardSpektor, yeah I'm interested. Check your private message inbox.

where are you guys meeting?
Cat 4s

Dave Jordan is rolling 10 deep, I have a feeling like they're hoping for some green or gray jersey action for Brett Halpern and Nathaniel Ruhlman. There are 7 Foundation, and 7 of us. So this should make it interesting with three deep teams.

I've not been racing yet this season, so I have no idea of who is the new strong guy who's going to kick a ton of a$$ in the early season. Patrick or Eloy do one of you want to be road captain keeping us all in line and keeping track of who we have who can help us deliver Bruce to the climb.

Half of the DJ team is signed up for Branchbrook the day before.  It's a tough thing, racing hard 2 days in a row, especially in cooler weather.  I'm counting on them being tired.
Val is the expected leader for DJ and he's going to try and get points in the race, he's been racing well.  But with, what looks like it will be, a sold-out race, wild cards may come out of the woodwork.
Nathan B on Foundation will be looking for the Yellow jersey, and he may get forced to upgrade to 3 if he gets it.  I think he can upgrade now but hasn't.  He continues to be a strong racer.
The issue with DJ is how in the beginning they will be trying to control the race and set the pacing.  After the second half, though, things tend to fall apart, especially in the early season with early fitness.  As a team, we've had good luck pairing with Foundation on the front, as they tend to be consistently strong riders.
I think staying near the front, staying out of the wind, communicating to each other is going to be key, as always.  I don't want to have anything to do with the sprint, but there's always a lap where the KOM and sprint are together.  All that means to me is hit the hill hard and then get out of the way, get on someone's wheel and out of the wind.

We haven't heard from Patrick yet and I'm curious if he wants to be in front or sweep for the KOM.  He's taken it before.
Nathan B does not want to upgrade and I know it because he told me.
I'll be there
