Ge the fuck ready.  Fat boy is showing up for the 4's.  Which means I'll be sitting at the back.  I might have one decent effort in me, but this is the first race of the season for me.  So that effort will probably suck.

I should be able to move people up rather easily a couple of times. Ryan and Mike can attest to the fact they barely have to pedal when drafting off me due to largesse of love handles.

I think that will work, the minimum distance behind a Heavy is 4 nautical miles for undisturbed air.

i am in for this race in cat 4.  i rather liked the cat 5 plan i heard about from last saturday, which i understood to be, everyone to the front just past the 15th street entrance on the bell lap.

the 5s actually patented that bad boy idea.  hands off.

Cat 4-Guys you might want to try putting McKay in as your sprinter, he is v-fast (he can even out-sprint me!). Also, figure out an order so you have someone like Owens (AKA The Bizmarck), single filing the peloton at the end.

Whaaaa! Andy you get a full-zip jersey. I was robbed, only 1/4 zip jersey for me. I felt like I was racing in the 20th Century.

I am taking the critical role this week as Marshal Captain. I am looking forward to donning the ceremonial vestments, and doing my parade laps of the course helping with any marshaling issues that may come up.

Why are we all ignoring the weird fact that all these jersey shots are showing up on the internet with dudes standing around in someone's 1/2 finished basement holding the jersey; away from all natural light and people.

On a serious tip, Dan, last weekend, all these rec riders were told by someone to ride on the far right side of the road. When we would tell them to ride to the left at the KOM line, they would look at us with a combination of WTF and fear (in the case of a mom with her little one in a bike seat).

I'd be happy to ride for McKay at the finale if we have a crew interested in that (and if he is interested). Please speak up. Ideally at least 3-4 guys plus McKay.

I'll also ride for Andy to keep the green. We need a few guys willing to chip in for that effort also.

As of this post...only Pederson, the leader in the KOM has reg'd.  Sooo for giggles I'm going to hit the 1st KOM and see if I can win it.  If I get spanked, I will retreat to the comfort of the green train leadout.
