One other comment for the sake a good chuckle; towards the end of the race just before the final KOM I (finally) found "High Viz Vector" and said, "Ok, you attack at the top."  He replied, "At the top?!?"

Funnily enough, last year, I congratulated him for a top 10 or something in the Cat 2 Battenkill race. He was all like, "it wasn't that hard...easy to train when you are unemployed." I guess dude's got a job now. Which is good.

I spoke with Pollo this afternoon (in NYC Velo after he replaced the bb bearings associated with my campy crankset, for which I am very grateful) and I asked him what happened with Cesar (who was DQ'ed for attaching in the joggers lane TWICE).

His response: 'Estupido'

He said something about sending him back to the Dominican Republic if it happened again, though I didn't quite understand that part.

Chris Zaverdas won the sprint in the 4's...if this kid is back racing...he is somebody to follow.  At least until he upgrades.

Re Tad (or maybe not Tad, per Andrew), his spit payload (full loogie) was launched at a target training dude when confronted by that dude about his crazed riding.  This was while he was also being pulled by the moto.  Pretty aggro.  Didn't get the feeling he was lost in self reflection, wondering if maybe he had done something wrong.

Yeah, send your son, the dude who places top 20 in National Calendar Crits, back to the DR because he can't follow a simple rule in local park race. That makes sense.

The one I saw was incredible.  He attacked on the left sweeper just before the downhill from about 50 riders back.  He passed the entire field in the jogger's lane and then swung right down the hill.

WEAR YOUR HELMETS. Harry had no idea he hit his head in his crash this morning. But we took a look at his helmet and it was DESTROYED. One look on the inside and you could easily see multiple chunks of helmet being held together by the exterior plastic shell.

Congrats everyone - from my vantage point at the bottom of the hill, Kissena was at the pointy end controlling things the entire 4 race. Was awesome to see Jeff C in that 4-man break. Ryan and Rene looked strong in the 1/2/3 break, too - a bigger selection and had a significant gap. Hope Harry is OK. What happened? Last - the 1/2/3s may recall screaming down the hill on lap 2 or 3 and finding a cop car on the course near Park Circle exit, forcing the group to slow and narrow. Ridiculous. He pulled up and was just sitting there. I see the moto, and yell at him to get off the road. Then I blew my whistle to get his attention again and yelled - get off the course - you are endangering the field. He sat there and smirked at me, then slowly rolled away after you had passed. A-hole.

Strong work guys! lets do it again next time and put a stamp on this thing.
