Currently I am 18 points ahead of everyone in sprints points. Pretty much the only way I could loose it is if one of the guys with 3 points wins every last remaining sprint.

The threat can be nullified with one early attack before the sprint by a lone rider....If we can get one guy to launch one before the parking lot with the rest of the team on the front soft pedaling...it will be over. Who amongst ye has a quick, nasty turn of speed and can get separation??

I think that if we (in the 4's) have numbers like last week, we should spread our efforts out over the race more. We don't need 10 riders glomming around the KOM or sprint premes - just a decent train for each. I think we need to start thinking seriously about the finish, and keeping a few folks fresh enough to lead out a sprinter.

true. For the Kom's I would just ask for 4 guys..2 of them would have the hard work of setting the pace after the start finish...the other 2 just need to stay in my slipstream. yacks

We have enough men here to try a long bomb AND have Brendan sprint for it if the bomb doesn't stay away.
Lets see how people are feeling closer to race day - we still have TWO floyd races to win before L&C!

The "long bomb" could work. It would force anyone else who is interested to take up chase and we could sit on their wheel and either jump if we need to or not.
There are 4 guys with 3 points each. I think only Charles from Foundation is a real threat. Egor and Ken seem uninterested, and one guy is listed with 3 points but it doesn't show when he got them. I think it's a mistake.

I think you send someone right before the boards near the parking lot...it is just far enough away to unload a snarky sprint...and then try and hold it to the line. The attack can't come from first wheel...you need to be near 10th wheel...when you launch from there...guys behind you aren't going to latch on and by the time you pass the front of the race, you are going too fast for them to do anything. I've won primes and scored sprint points with this exact move. It has to be violent, what you are looking for is separation. Once you are off the front, many riders will look around for someone else to close it. It is too far from the line for anyone with green jersey aspirations to chase. Whatever you do...DON'T LOOK BACK !!!!

Yeah, I'm so far behind Stalin because I missed the last race for Cielo that I had kid of given up on the dots. But I guess if he no-shows one I could try to grab both sprints and get right back in it.
