L&C race5,
good luck ALL w/goals! Yacks&Ryan in Dots!
understand, AndyDS is away this week...me too.

4's Brendan w/some green points/win effort, others in on a Win/Place effort!

same for 5s&123s...all the best see you in a week or so.
-h;-)
I think Ryan and the team should continue to go for the kom points if for no other reason than it imposes a structure and a clear plan that is often absent amongst the 123s from Kissena. On a related not, I think the goal should be for Ryan to score points in all KOM sprints.
Marc, I guess we could do that just for the sake of having a plan but the truth is the jersey is pretty well out of reach. Stalin is way ahead because when I was gone last week he scored 6 pts, and he will likely be at every race, while I'm going to miss the last two for a trip out of town and then for Catskills. I'd rather focus on the breakaway - we've been pretty successful at that so far this year.
Lisban's back...

Yacks, I'm your sweeperman tomorrow.
Find my wheel right after the downhill and don't let go !
Have we got a diesel that can take us to the bottom of the hill?
Wanted: 1 cyclist to drive a train from the start finish to the base of the hill. Prior experience not required. Must have strong 1 minute power and be goal orientated. Compensation commiserate with power to weight ratio.
Think Owens is up for it... but that's a 3 minute drive my friend :)
From the start/finish to the hill = 1 minute

Sorry I misread - was thinking from the end of the downhill :)
@Ryan- lets actively jump the front in the beginning and see what rolls from there. I agree the break is probably better.
Jules I will need a sweeper from the end of the down hill on as I am convinced Erik will look to grab my wheel early this time around (its what I would do). I am confident that I can out kick him if I'm towards the top of the hill when I jump.
Yaks I think Tito can sweep, I can lead out and Owens and Owens can get us to the base of the hill.

Is Eric racing tomorrow?
He has reg'd and he has a team mate this week

I'm getting psyched for this!  Let's make it cleaner, leaner and meaner than last week.

Do we have a finisher?  Anyone up for leading out Brendan?  I certainly will if I can.
Someone yell instructions at me and I'm there.
ok David...work your way towards the front at the boards near the parking lot...if you can set tempo from the parking lot to the start finish...we can find someone to take Jules and me to the hill from there.  yack
Move to the outside and drag you guys up with me to the front, yes?
if there's enough folks to help yacks defend his KOM jersey, i thought my goals for tomorrow would be two. (1) snagging a sprint or two to keep andy's hold on the green; and (2) working on my end-race game and trying to finish better than last week.  if someone wants to lead me out, ok, but if not it's also ok.  my goal is to sit 4-5th wheel for that final stretch and not accidentally help lead the the winning foundation rider, while also burning through my sprint legs, like i did last week.

i figure going for the intermediary sprints will help me figure out how to work the final scrum
Calling either Jeff or Aloysh.....care to give us just 1 full minute at threshold? The train just needs to get from the start finish to the hill....nothing that should hurt your chances in the race...just a springboard for Jules to light up the climb... It's a month until the next Castaldi cup race....lets drop the hammer tomorrow and put the dots to bed!
Brendan, the guy in 2nd for the green is likely not going to blow the rest of the series trying to grab what he can't have...sit near him in the sprint and if he does jump, take his slipstream and come around him . Problem solved
reporting for duty.  @yacks i can take that start/finish-to-hill leadout if required.

i am also keen to help rigby go for the W.  with numbers like we have, i feel like we should be dominating points and taking the win.

n.b. i put 80 miles of, kinda, openers in my legs today.  i'll know within 15 minutes whether their up for the challenge.  should be fine.

While it's highly unlikely that anyone can take the green away from Andy, there are still two "paying" spots. Brendan, if you want to try your hand I'd be willing to lead you out for a green sprint or two. Call it practice or whatever. It would be great if we could get a bit of help but understood if folks want to contribute their efforts to Yacks and the dots or for the finale. Without Andy in the group it will be less clear to everyone else who to follow.

I'd also be happy to help in the finale but only if we have a group committed to keeping it single file fast. With the 4's track record this year, as soon as the swarm starts I'm out of there.

OK THEN !!!  Look for David Yang, Jules and me near the boards.  David is going to pull us to the start finish, so line up behind him near the boards by the parking lot.  When you pass the start finish..come around and ride a nice tempo to the base of the hill.  Save your watts for the last 10 seconds or so to give Jules a ramp up.   Tomorrow it is on like DONKEY KONG !!!!
^ ok.  roughly on what laps are the KOMs?
Like 4th and 2nd to last in the 4's.
Sorry I've been off forum today. I'll help where you need me. Interested in sweeping up the hill too. Maybe for the second? Let me know the plan and I'll execute.
