Let's play nice guys! Or I will have to come out this Thursday and lap everyone.
Anybody thinking that this will be flooded tomorrow? with the rain we're getting today it make take a long time to drain.
It's not looking good. I'm putting my trainer together in anticipation of a soggy week.
So bad
If its on, I will probably be there.

Another 1/2 of rain overnight. It will probably all be under water by morning if not already.
If no one sees me when I go into Floyd at night, and no one hears me breaking up cement, digging a hole and installing some water drains, and somehow water drains magically appear in the morning... no one would have a fit right?

Helpers wanted.

In any case I'll be out there tomorrow if it's on.
Woj, whatever toxic mix that is buried out there, trust me, you want to stay buried...

I'll be out there too if it's on, but weather is not promising - dusting off the rollers...
Jules, I lived 8 years of my life less then 300 miles from Chernobyl... I think I can handle some Floyd gunk!
That explains the mutant powers...
any social media updates on today's race? I'm blocked over here by the DOE.
oh: found on nyvelocity:

FBF Update: As of now tonight's race is still on as scheduled. As always, I will post an announcement on this site after 4PM with an update on the course conditions.

Anyone? Yea or nay?
I think Charlie just posted that the race in on at nyvelocity.

See you guys there.
its on. See some of you crazy mutants out there?
Wish I could join you.
Totally lame that we have to go to another club's website to find out if our own race series is on for a given night. Can someone teach Charlie how to use the forum, or post a message on our FB page?
Wait; was this fruit of today's 9W ride?
Quick report:

Woj, Vlad, Rene and I lined up tonight. Pretty nice size field.

Wind speed was low, bunch sprint likely.

Early on, I bridged to an early move featuring A Burrowes, Foundation, and BH. A few other bridged, and then we were caught.

Woj patrolled the front and made some spirited moves. It is fun watching him race smart, knowing he isn't in race shape he stays close to the front and follows moves instead of instigating his own. Vlad was active as well, trying to get across to moves and keeping us well represented.

with about 1.25 laps to go, Jermaine started to put in a big dig. I saw it and got on his wheel. Rafael Meran joined, as did Brian Breech and that innovation guy from the Spring Series break JP and I were in.

Unfortunately, I was pretty gassed and let jermaine get a huge gap when I was second wheel. then meran got away. I recovered and tried to close the gap, as did brian, but it was too late.

I thought he was getting caught, but somehow in the confusion Rafel stayed away. Not sure about Jermaine.

I tried to slot back in and got Rene's attention, but we were on opposite sides of a swelling field. I moved up but could not get through to help him.

Rene was smart and followed wheels, getting 8th or 10th overall. Not bad.

I was kicking myself a bit for not sticking with that late move, but I think it is one of those things that I probably couldn't have done it even if I knew it was the winning move. But of course, once you do post race analysis your legs aren't burning and you could have always gone harder.

Big congrats to Rene. Well deserved result.
nice job dudes

way to get rene up there, and way to close it, Lil Re-Re!
Innovation guy's name is Ramphy Colome. He's a good guy to be in a break with.
Well done fellas. Out of curiosity, how wet was it out there?
Surprisingly not very wet at all.
Anyone joining me tonight? It hasn't been raining much on staten Island but I've been told Brooklyn got some heavy cells.

I will call Burrows at 4 to confirm the race, look for an update shortly after.
Is hasn't been raining there? Crazy. I've gotten a steady hour of thunder and heavy downpours here in Bushwick.
WS united website states the race is cancelled

Boo ):
Really wish I knew that before driving in from csh!

AGGHGGHGGGGH!!!
It is bucketing Old Testament style here in Bklyn.
I'll be at GAP at 6pm for anyone that wants to ride out to FBF.
