Floyd Bennett Field

Bummer about the flat. I saw a Rapha guy's tire spew out a geyser of sealant tonight. Personally, I've had a pretty good run with a tubeless Hutchinson Fusion 3 set-up out there.

Oh, and I remember when you destroyed the Kysriums last year. That chunk you took out of them was crazy.

I love Floyd.
Cross post from "Ride Safe" thread.

Guys,

Two things:

1) the discount window for Road ID is OPEN - get one, or get something like it
2) please go to this form and fill it out. We need your emergency contact info

Peace.
Fabergé, eh?
Nosson, very sorry to hear about your spill. Hope you heal quickly.
Also, BEWARE PEOPLE RIDING LAPS AT FLOYD.
Charlie had a couple of cones just after the Start/Finish (which made it a bit sketch). I didn't look at them, but supposedly there are two steel anchors that were used for anchoring planes/dirigibles, about 3 inches tall and 6 inches round. Because they've removed some weeds there they are now sitting proud.
Nosson,

I am very sorry to hear about your crash buddy, I hope that you are doing OK.
Victor posted that Nossen may have hit a cone; if there is a hidden steel anchor underneath that would be pretty bad.
Oof. Hope you're more or less ok, Nosson. If it's just a collarbone, you have joined the "real racers" club, and will have to join us on a ride as soon as you're able. Let us know how you're doing.

Take care,
-j.
Hope you heal up soon Nosson. Let us know how you're doing when you can.
How are your tubulars Nosson??

Seriously though, hope you are more or less in one piece. No matter how many race I do or crashes I see, I still get the total wind knocked out of me when there is a spill in my field. I then proceed to ride like a wimp for the remaining laps.

What are you saying John, there are some obstacles near the start/finish now that are visible and an issue?
Oh yaouch!
Nosson,
sound like a hard fall, let us know how your doing...heal-up fully&very soon.
you be back before you know it, stronger&more fearless. heard the mythic JP is already getting in some riding again.
all the best BiG guy!

Are you home or in the hospital still?
Hopefully this will cheer you up Nosson - looking strong!

I love that photo thanks!
Im at home
yes I hit a cone it felt more like a steal beem
I don't know what it was doing there
so nothing broken?
sounds pretty clearly like Nosson hit one of the steel anchors.....cones clearly aren't going to cut it for something like that. shit, last week in PP half the cones on the course were knocked down by lap 3.
Aw Nosson, terrible news; glad the prognosis is good.

Heal up quick.
Very sorry to hear of your crash Nosson --feel better soon!
Guys, remember today is when Charlie is under extra scrutiny from the local authorities as a result of last week's chaos.

Please make an effort to help out if you can.

Small field, but hawd, damp racing tonight. With a strong crosswind everyone wanted to ride the gutter. Got away with six laps to go with a WW and we caught a strong rider Andrew McGee of the Target Training team (who are in yellow). I mean, as per bikereg list; TARGETRAINING! Shout their name dammit! With a french accent! Can K I S S E N A not take this to the next level? I talked to TT after and they were very savvy. Definitely ones to watch and they are doing a great job shopping with their two-man team.

Haven't had much luck so far in this series and tonight was no exception with maybe a 50 second gap on the field flatted on the first corner of the bell lap. Does anyone have a Wolber Reinforce or a Panaracer Touriste? Picked up some green jersey points. Vlad did well to finish the 123's in 11th, looking strong like ox.

Had to chip in one whole EXTRA dollar to have an ambulance in attendance. I say it's a bargain, also a good reminder to all those with the crazy pants. How's Nosson doing? Detailed medical report please Nosson. Attached pic is Andrew of TT. Thanks to Daniel for running reg.
John you can't seem to steal a flat-free trip to FBF these days. Sooner or later your bad luck will run out and it will be Gymkata! Time :)

bummer john!

nice finish vlad!
The FBF 123 races have been particularly hard thus far, especially when the fields are small. Nowhere to hide. Total attrition.

Here's a picture of me crying about it to Eugene.
lol

keep it classy, brooklyn
Victor is the best.

I'm not crying about this though:
