Blue print?
Hmmm. Too much wine in me to stumble out now... Next week.
And rye.......
Animals.  Animals the lot of you.  The second they cancel one race, that you weren't going to attend anyway, you turn to drink.  Gorging on wine until filled like a plump mosquito.  You sicken me.

Adieu
5:50 GAP. Get your FBF fix on the second-longest day of the year.
@Jeffrey White - race report?  Anyone else join?
Jules, Jeff, me...
Very windy. All three of us were in or initiated all the breaks. Counter, counter all night long. Jules pulled back the only serious threat (and then Jeff countered). Bell lap I got away with two guys, but the third guy wouldn't pull and we were reabsorbed about 1k out, maybe top ten finish. We drowned our sorrows with a couple of pitchers at Mission Dolores (great place!).
Three J's showed up - me, Johnny Wrongway and Jeff White.

Whoever was running that race - it was clearly their FIRST TIME EVER because registration took half an hour longer than the posted start time.  We didn't start rolling until well after 7pm.

The race was hard; we took turns counter attacking and following Lance... the wind was preposterous and to spite it all we finished in the bunch with nothing to show for it.

We drowned our sorrows with beer and chips at Mission Dolores afterwards.

I did about 40 minutes at 300 - the race was only 41 minutes long... we did a good job overall of countering attacks but it wasn't in the stars.
I had a case of the caca legs, so I didn't do a whole lot. Got in a couple moves/splits, did a LOT of blocking for Jules and John. W.S. United had at least one man in every move, and were very good about blocking as well. They raced well as a team last night. I was basically out of commission for the last two laps. Just didn't have much pop left, and the chase for the last two breaks kept the pace high. John, our only sprint threat, was in a great-looking move that got caught near the end, so there was no lead-out to be done. Rode it in with the pack.

The reg line was long because they were training some lady. Still, made it to Mission Dolores right at nightfall, so it was fine.

40 minutes at 240 watts, 272 normalized.
i cannot believe it: we're looking at a storm-free tuesday!

it's because you got the zip code wrong; Floyd is in 11234, not 11205.  i wish i was joking...

@Brendan if you can't post anything nice...DON'T POST

(quietly makes note of where he left fenders... weeps...)
i just didn't want mark to get all excited and apply a nice new layer of wax to his trusty steed only to discover a TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR awaits him and all the faithful departed who left work for floyd

Looks like poor air quality as well.  Doesn't mix with asthma, so I'll prob skip.

On the weather front, 20% chance of thunderstorms. I'll have to be out there to defend that green jersey—anyone riding out? http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?hourly=1&query=11234&yday=175&weekday=Tuesday

i was thinking of riding out.  do folks usually meet at GAP? what time?
@McKay - I usually run into people around 6 at the GAP for the 3/4 race, but @Mark Clifford said he'll be at the GAP at 5:45 today (two posts before)
5:45-5:50 always seems to be a mellower trip.
i'll be @ GAP at 5:45 if i get all my homework did
