Great Scott!  A forum uglier than ours.  I never would have believed it was possible...
Woah.  My sources tell me that there is a contingent of Kissena peeps hitting this tomorrow.  Looks like I'll be using my racing wheels!
I think I can do it. Don't know if I want to though. I'm racing tonight and then going back to fire island tomorrow. Do I really want to race then long ride? I'll see...
Anyone want to do this tomorrow?
Just me and Lenny :(

We have no Kissena friends.  Meh.
See you tomorrow morning, peeps.

Bring your racing wheels, we're going to go fast.
if you're not doing the triangle ride, you're not trying hard enough.

(so says the guy who can only pedal slow now - but it's TRUE!)
If anyone's heading out to this and has a spot in their car, lemme know! Best training ride around.
I am saving my power for Sunday...otherwise I'de breaking all your little chicken legs like they were kindling....
Wait, the Yacks has to divy his power between Saturday and Sunday?! This is worse than learning the truth about The Tooth Fairy. (Screw Santa and the Bunny - the Fairy knew that I needed cash for a copy of Double Dragon.)
Joaquin...had you decided to ride your Skeletor in last years Club Championship race, instead of that silly plastic bicycle....I'de be calling you the reigning Club Champion.  Even the Tooth Fairy would be forced to kiss the ring.  Yacks

p.s.  had you protested, Lenny would have been relegated for using a fairing on his face (aka his nose)
But Yaaaaacks, (sigh, dirt kick), the bottom bracket on the plastic bike is just so beefy. Yackknowwuddeyemean?! It seduced me the night before the race. And truth be told, it won my heart. I blame the skinny wheels.

Anyway, triangle ride. Right. People should do that.
still, I think it's greatest Kissena finish line pic I've ever seen.  A mensch hat trick. It's a shame anyone had to lose that sprint.  Reminds me of this pic...
You were all missed today.
Might do this tomorrow.  FYI, there are rides this Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
I'm in for sunday. Where does the ride start?
To the "Dave" that I met on this ride today, sorry for being such a pleb and only staying to chat for a while.  You happened to have come across me in the middle of a session and I was a bit focused.

I am on this ride every weekend so if you join up with the group I promise I'll interact for more than 3 minutes, also with less hill and less headwind perhaps.

You looked resplendent in your Kissena white BTW.  Glorious.

Will be on this ride this weekend (4 April), going to do my 30 miles before and another 20-30 after to get in my century, looking for some company (Looking mostly at you, Yacks and Whitey).

Family oblig's on Sunday.   But on Saturday there is local phenomenon called a "bike race" in Prospect Park.  This is where local tribes compete around a 3 mile oval riding velocipedes.  The first tribesman to cross the line after 36 miles is declared the winner.  I suspect you will be busy pissing around on Long Island.  Have fun you cheeky slapper !
Going to a bike race in PA on Saturday.  Will be racing NOT with the same people that I see every single week and NOT on the same course that I have raced every March-August for the last 10 years.  I know, I know, how can one possibly enter a race with so many variables and that has some sort of hill in it and lasts more than 2 hours.  I know, total crazy talk.  I'll go back to pissing around on Long Island.  Blasphemy!!

So, you coming out on Sunday before your family stuff or what?
Ice creams!!!
Which one, Turkey Hill or L&C cup?
Yep.

That's right young man, you change that silly post.  I will eat ice cream.
Change yours loser
Just look out for the tractors out there young man!
Sage advice, Christopher. For sure will do that after last week.
Watch for the signs
Probably worth spraying some Tractor Repellant on your exposed skin and drive train too...
