Don't worry JP, I will post regular updates on comparing Applebees to its UK equivalent (TGI Fridays? Oh wait...). Whitey will especially love that. Hope to be getting my ass to some indoor velodrome action before the London one opens - I mean, there's only three others to choose from (with a fourth in Derby on the way).
It'll be winter soon, so will probably bump into Wiggo in the pub soon enough, downing his 10th pint and moaning about some skinny Kenyan dude.

Would love to join you on Oct. 19. As it happens, I'll be out celebrating a buddy's bday that night in Brooklyn, so we may be within strawberrita pissing distance. Also, Oct 19 is MY bday.....so yeah, strawberritas and shots of MD 20/20.....

I'm happy that you decided to take it. I sensed some reluctance when we discussed it upon crossing paths on our respective commutes a few weeks back, but I think you're going to like it. Furthermore, it's not inconceivable that I'll end up out there in a year and a half or so - at which point Kissena West will be born.

For tomorrow...very good chance that I can drop by The Gate. See you then!

This is my farewell post. Over the past four seasons I've enjoyed racing with all of you. Kissena Cycling Club was my introduction into competitive organized bike racing,and I'm incredibly happy to have spent these past years with the club. I was offered a spot on the GS Mengoni team for year and I have accepted. I would like to thank you all for the support you have given me through out the years.

Rene - Congrats! Of course we will miss you here, but I'm very excited for you.

You've really transformed yourself as a bike rider over the past season especially. It's been great to watch. A few years ago you were a kid who spent a lot of time waiting for the sprint - this year you're winning field sprints, tackling the breakaways with the big boys, kicking ass at hilly courses, park courses, and even FBF.
