Way too soon, we are losing James Shaw as he heads back across the pond next week.  

It's been a blast having him on the team, and thought we'd get together for drinks on Thursday evening.  The plan is to come back from Floyd after the 4/5 race, and should get back to a bar in Brooklyn with outdoor seating as we'll most likely still be in kit and w/ Bikes.  

Franklin Park (618 St Johns Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11238) has a decent sized outdoor area and ~2 blocks off the 2/3/4/5 Franklin Ave. Subway stop.

Thinking 8pm (we'd be there hopefully no later than 8:15pm), folks that get there before us be kind enough to grab a table.

It's fine. Things to lock to outside and if its not crowded they let you bring it inside.

BTW, I intend to continue my night at The Bellhouse over on 7th Street for the monthly 80's dance night.

Kasia - we missed you guys.

Thanks to all that were able to make it out. Going to take me a couple of days to recover from that pizza gorging. 

We'll plan another one for later in the spring.

It's going to take me some time to recover, but sadly not from the pizza.  That beer is too delicious!

Thanks for organizing the meetup.  Nice to see you guys (and gal!) last night and do some early season carbo loading.

I particularly liked the part when the guitar-ukelele-banjo circle, between jams, broke out into an a capella hymn in three-part harmony. It somehow paired well with my dry-hopped stout.
