I've brought my bike in before with no problems.

Reminder - see you all this evening!
Formula Femme does these cool goldsprint social events and it looks super fun. Have we ever done anything similiar? I'd be into it ;)

@gregstreiff the event you posted was actually the clifbar goldsprints competition in which formula femme participated. It was awesome and the prizes are BIG.
I plan to attend tonight, gotta glue on someone's veneer first though.  I'll be late.
Hey @jim_nelson do you know if dogs are allowed? Pig Beachs phone # on Facebook doesn't work
Update for owners: they are 100% dog friendly. I'm bringing Ziggy :)
I'm here. Got a big table immediately to left of entrance.
Good times last night. @jim_nelson thanks for organizing.
Sorry I missed last night's event. I got pulled into a fire drill at work and the R train was royally @#%*#$ up coming home. Stalled train at dekalb? Took me over an hour to go from City Hall to Union St! That's like 3mph. Good case study on the benefits of biking.
the time I got out of the train, I had completely sweat through my suit and it was past 8 o'clock and I was in a pretty foul mood. How late were you all there?
Maybe around 8:30 - 9?
I think it was more like 9:30p when I left.
Belated thanks to @jim_nelson for organizing! For those who didn't make it, you missed some SERIOUS bbq.
While not an official Kissena social, I figured this would be a good place to post a cool event.

On Nov. 5, my GF Janet Kim has organized and will be playing a show at Mercury Lounge on Sunday, Nov. 5.  Some of you met her during the Kissena party last December and she joined us at the all consuming 2016 GMSR bikefest :)

Doors are at 5:30pm and Janet will be on at 7pm.  Tickets are just $10.  Links to the show and her website are below, where you can get some more information, listen to her music and also take in a music video she prepared.  She's worked incredibly hard, written all the songs, sings and plays the violin, and will have a back up band doing the drums and guitars. I know she'd enjoy seeing everyone and I look forward to seeing you there as well!

I'll also be out that weekend through Nov. 12 and I hope to get some riding in as well.  I've taken a break off the bike for a bit since GMSR, but slowly getting back to riding as temps have dropped consistently into the mid- upper 80's.  Yep, that's Houston.

TOMORROW! Please join us!

Hi All,

John and I would like to proctor a happy hour this Wednesday evening. I know I could use some early season motivation, and teammates and beer usually do the trick. How about Burke and Wills on the upper west side this Wednesday 3/7 at 7pm? Let us know if you can make it!

Coopers on tap! https://www.burkeandwillsny.com/ West 79th and Broadway

I'd love to make it , but (you'll only ever here this once) i'm at the opera !
Sounds great. Even if a snowstorm wasn’t in the forecast I wouldn’t be able to make it.

Have fun!

Team,

We're planning an early fall social - save the date:

September 27th, 6:00pm

Location - somewhere in lower Manhattan

More details to come.

Cheers,
Jim
Hey @jim_nelson is this event still going on?

Team,

Please join us for Happy Hour:

Thursday - 9/27 - 5:30 pm

The Scratcher
209 E 5th St
New York, NY 10003

First drink is on the club.

Come hangout with your teammates in regular clothes (hell, wear whatever you want) and tell us about how close you were to winning that sprint at Prospect or Floyd this year and how psyched you are for cross season!

Nice turnout last night - glad you all could make it. Sorry I had to bail a bit early.
That was fun!  It was great to see everyone - I've been off the bike for a while so it was good to catch up and talk without breathing hard on a hill.

And once again, it was the best looking, slimmest, most fit group I saw all night.  It's almost as if we should all be members of a club or something.

Nice venue choice, too.  I could hear everyone talk and it never got too terribly crowded - thanks Jim, and all, for setting that up, and for the first drink.
thanks Jim for setting this up. Good to see teammates in regular street clothes.
Good to see many faces!  Now back to kits and helmets tomorrow :)
Hear, hear Bruce and thanks Jim. Great to see everyone and I owe you guys a beer!
Next Wednesday 28th, come grab a beer and catch up at Upper West Side aussi bar with Coopers on tap… www.burkeandwillsny.com 6:30pm

Good times last night. @GregoryDonovan @ScottGriffin @GiacomoVischi
@Will Kalbacker @GregStreiff @ErikPfiffner

Roo-burgers were eaten.

First Thursdays!
I realize this is short notice, at least for this one, but let's meet up on the first Thursday of each month and socialize with teammates and hang out with part of the .01% of the NY population with the same passion as yours.
61 Local, on the F line.  Thursday 1/3/19 6-8pm.
61local.com

They have tonic water, beer, food.
Phil and I are meeting up, and I talked briefly with Rob while riding and he said he's got the night free - hope you can make it.
Casual, stop by after work, even if just for a minute to say hello.  And if your New Year's resolutions include hanging out in new bars, being more involved with the team, meeting new people, well then, you're in luck.
Bonus - I'll bring a jersey and a race number.  If you're new to racing, it's better to try pinning on a number in a bar instead of at 5:15am in the dark just before the whistle blows.
