Hey everybody, we've done this before and we'll do it again. But this time, I have more space!
There will be a BBQ in my backyard / basement on Saturay May 19. A pre-the real racing season begins kind of fete.
Its mainly BYOB (for good stuff), but the club will provide:
Some beer / Soda / Water
Burgers / Hot Dogs / Veggie Products
Bread products to accompany the meats above
Some condiments and tomatoes (prepared by WDC), lettuce, onions
Plates / napkins / forks
Really, its a time to get together and hang and hopefully bring some good beer along for the ride.
If there is anything else you would like to see at the party / bbq, let me know.
Oh yeah, we need someone to volunteer for:
Grill Duty
Food procurement
Food prep (WDC is awesome at this, just give him a small knife)
Beer procurement and cooling
All in favor of the season's kick off party raise your hands and let us know that you're in (to get an idea about the food).
Eric (host - that position is taken and I'll even straighten up the basement and perform basic bike repair clinics too).

But I'll be celebrating tomorrow at Mark Bar in Greenpoint at 7pm. Home of the $3 everything happy hour, starting at 10am. Then probably $8 burger party at Habitat. I got into Hunter-Bellevue nursing program so it's time to erase all that crap I learned.
