Here is a new one; broke the TIP OF MY THUMB today after eating shit in front of Key Foods. This grate I've ridden past like a thousand times... ate my front wheel and I did a pretty spectacular yard sale.

Adios Battenkill, P2A and any racing for a few weeks at least. Balls.

That said, it's some pretty good luck to have only busted a tiny little thumbtip.

Probably. That thing is a Tank. A slippery tank. Rear der is hosed, but probably just the hanger. Not suew what kind of wrenching I can do one-handed.

FWIW it was pretty dramatic what with my front wheel DISSAPEARING INTO THE PAVEMENT up to the hub. Mike had to use his Excaliber skillz to get it out again.

I bit it in a pothole on Berkeley and 7th years ago as I drifted to go down the wring way accidentally. I realized it, straightened out on the wrong side if 7th and then slid right into the parallel cut of the pot hole. Bang. Ouch. Stupid.

Thankfully not as hurt, but the indignity.
