Where do people plan on doing Tim's 30/30/30/30 workout? I figure we'll look like idiots just jumping off of our bikes in the middle of the prospect park loop and running for 30 seconds.
I get a kick out of the strange looks I get when I do these in my local park. Mothers shoo their children away from me, dogs tuck their tails in horror, and perverts in the woods are comforted by no longer being the weirdest guys in the park. Okay, I may be exaggerating, but you just have to accept that people will look at you weird when you practice CX
Look sharp, cyclocross edition.

6:30am this Thursday on Prospect Park. Bring your cyclocross bike. I will bring cones and barriers.

We'll practice skills and drills for about an hour or so.

Come looking sharp.

Meet at the location -- if you don't know the location, it is exactly where you would get a lobster roll on a Sunday, except you'll be there Thursday at 6:30am w your cross bike.
Can't let you guys have all the fun - I'm going to give this a try. See you Thursday

Some select photos that weren't all terrible.  Sorry, I was having too much fun skidding around the grass and dirt.  Thanks again to the mentors, this was way more fun than I thought it would be.

Even though Eloy is out of focus in the background you can still tell how sharp he is:

Camera is out of focus but Jeff still looks sharp:

Myles with that flat back, way the hell off doing his own thing as usual:

those photos are awesome. thanks.
Aw thanks Eloy.

So I'm looking to enhance and add content to the supercross site via blog posts.  Basically just want to have stuff of interest for cx racers and enthusiasts. Could be photos, race reports, pro commentary, interviews with pros and amateurs alike, gear talk, whatever!.

Reach out to me if you want to contribute. It's a good platform to get your voice heard!
Anyone down for this CX race, Sunday Oct 16, West Chester Cross Classic?  I'm certain the Kissena CX diehards will be in Glouster, but that is, well, kinda far away.

For those interested in doing the 4/5 then getting a morning cheesesteak in Philly, let's coordinate 9won't even have to deal with Eagles traffic, as they are playing Washington that weekend).

I'm a maybe on West Chester but I'll be at Cooper River the day before.

If you have extra space in your car, I'd be down to cover your gas $$.

Who's the dude in the see-thru jersey?

Thanks for putting it together Eloy - had a blast
Yes, there is nothing quite like the feeling of starting your day by falling in the dirt.  Good times!
getting the cx auto pilot ready for nittany

I'm going to have so many bruises after this weekend!

Comarades racing Nittany Tomorrow - we salute you!

May:
  • you freak out on the start line
  • you smash your hole shot
  • you get totally waaaaaah! and then wheeeee! and then braaaaap!
  • your stoke be extreme
  • your pressure be just right
  • your glue (or tape) hold
and above all else... may you BRING THE EXTRA COWBELL!!!!!!

(also never forget - look sharp)
A dry Nittany is like a day without sunshine.

it rained hardcore for all of Jill's race. today was fun!!
#hotness

Results?
there were more donuts handups yesterday. but Dan looked like the hotness today.

This Nittany was 1000% better than last year since there wasn't the off-camber slip-n-slide that was my greatest nemesis last year.
First cyclocross practice was 1 week ago!
Eloy, despite your usually convincing proselytizing about cyclocross this is not everything I want cycling to be.
Cyclocross is everything you want cycling to be.

BTW if you have not raced cyclocross, then you have not actually done any cyclocross.
