Same here.
Since there seems to be a large presence of Kissenas at Rainey, and tent space is free, and 5 open spots, should we get  team tent and I bring my 10'x10' popup up tent?
Scored the team tent space...
I'm also down for the count.
Should be fun!

As I asked in Slack, does anyone have a Kissena banner or something to help "brand" the tent? The canopy is white.
The tent is. Great idea. I don’t think club has a banner AndrewJohnson said:

Hmm.. Maybe I'll bring my summer jersey's and hang them from the tent?
Hey all, I did some research on going to Fayetteville Arkansas for CX Worlds at the end of January. Here is our only chance to watch Piddcock, MVdP and Wout battle it out in the mud in the US.

Several people are already going and I wanted share the travel info if anyone has been considering going.

I found that the reasonable hotels closest to the venue were already booked up. I ended up booking at the Hampton Inn in Springdale (15 minutes from venue) for about $150 a room a night where a group of us are staying.

Both AA and Delta fly direct, but there are a limited number of flights per day.  A bunch of us are booked on AA 4839 from LGA-XNA at 1:30pm Friday 1/28 and return on AA 4789 from XNA-LGA at 7:09 am Monday 1/31. Flights were $239 round trip.

You can fly back on Sunday but the last direct flight is at 5 which would be tight given the end of the Men’s race. American has a 6:27pm flight with layover in NC, but it gets into JFK at midnight (round trip $247). If you must absolutely be at work Monday this might be a good option. BTW, Google maps says it takes 30+ minutes to get from centennial park to the airport. The best estimate is that the Men's race will end around 4pm Sunday...

@PatrickGrehan

Awesome!  I'm considering.

Love to go but I'm on financial lockdown until next summer... Stupid totaling of car....
If the weather is good I might try and fly down :)
Anyone renting cars or is everyone using a car service/taxis?
I rented a minivan. But it is likely at capacity and there would be a need to rent another vehicle
Since when is the weather good anywhere is US (excluding CA and FL) on January 29th? It’s gonna suck

Anybody racing this weekend? I haven't decided between Governor Guard and SSCX
I signed up for SCCX on Sunday

I think the Kissenista majority will be at SCCX.

How warm is it in Arkansas in January?
around 51°F
Daily high temperatures are around 51°F, rarely falling below 35°F or exceeding 67°F. The lowest daily average high temperature is 50°F on January 6. Daily low temperatures are around 34°F, rarely falling below 21°F or exceeding 49°F.

Registering. My son Cedric will race as well. Very exciting moment.
A bit concerned to see only 41 people registered for all of SCCX, perhaps Sly Fox and Really Rad have pulled the cyclocross crowd.
The low numbers for SCCX have scared me off. I am going the extra distance to Sly Fox instead. The fact that its a brewery and the video below made it look interesting enough to go:

Not much further and you could be at Really Rad…
I’m planning on Sly Fox as well, although was considering the 3/4 field because of the later start, but if you are in the masters I’ll race masters too
