I'd pay for an on demand live or library of race coverage that wasn't either 300px or intermittent or crawling with trojans... not sure if i'd pay 150 bucks for it, but hey, the TDF app was fantastic and worth every cent.

Just so I don't come across like a total cheap-ass, I was for years a paying subscriber to cycling.tv as it was a good way to get coverage of the classics. But then the changed something about their website and it became a log-in nightmare every time I wanted to try and watch something and so I let my subscription lapse and have never been back.

But yeah,  Joe and Jules, if I knew what I was actually going to get other than cross vegas and the Todd Wells version of Behind the Barriers, I could at least KNOW that paying $150 a year is too rich for my blood. Instead of simply being fairly certain as I am now.

I've become a fan of Honey Stinger Waffle cookies.  Tasty, easy to eat on the bike.  

Isn't Honey Stinger also partly owned by Lance?

I love the wafels.  Now I have to decide if the sealed individual wrapping is worth the premium.  From what I can tell, the other thing Honey Stinger has is better flavors.

Well, I know we have a few Canadian weirdos on this club, but here in America we prefer to have all of our products individually wrapped. In fact, I buy my individually wrapped Stinger waffles one at a time at my local bodega just so I can exercise my right as an American to buy an individually wrapped treat and have it put in a large plastic bag that I will throw away as soon as I walk out the door.

That was a claim that Honey Stinger made, but I always had the feeling it was a promotional deal.  And the people I saw at InterBike said his mug is coming off the packaging soon.

His mug is already off the packaging (check the club twitter, yo) but I have to wonder if this belongs on the weight loss thread; every time I buy a box of those I wake up covered in sugar dust an hour or two later with a terrible pain in my side and a pile of empty wrappers at my feet...

Yeah, those things are so good that I end up eating them as dessert. Maria loves them too. 

the honey stingers are often up on Chainlove for like $12/box-- great deal when they're there.  And yeah, my wife digs them if we're out of dessert things in the house.

Good to know though.  I walk by Silk all the time and never have gone it.  There were always cruisers/rentals parked out front, so I didn't know they had good wrenches.

Yeah...that's the owner, Brendon, in the videos. He's super nice and mostly does mountain biking, touring and a bit of randoneuring. He did his first cross race at Nittany in the 4/5s on a single speed(He's from Trexlertown). The staff are all super friendly young dudes...not at all jaded or world weary

Yeah, I had the road version of these shoes for two years. I liked them fine - but for $89 they're a steal.

Do Lake sizes run true?  If I'm a 42 in specialized, can I get away with a 41.5 in Lake?

@Phillip- In my experience they do run a little big (and I have wide feet).  Also seems to vary with different Lake models a bit.

if anyone is in the area, there is a guy on the street selling a couple short sleeve assos jerseys on W 181st between Ft Washington and Cabrini. he's on the sidewalk on the north side of the road.  i didn't inquire because the jerseys looked too big for me.  and they were too hot.  if you know what i mean.
