Any one have photos from Supercross this weekend??? We'd like to share. They don't have to be podium shots. In fact we love action shots :)

Thanks!
Kasia
Also, check out the Supercross facebook page. We'll be posting many there.
Anyone with party photos, please post here... Particularly sponsor friendly shots we can post to social media. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure my lens was dirty so mine came out shit, but here they are:

Big thanks to Mark Taylor for organizing the flea market, also to those who gave gear to sell. $185 and a bunch of gear is winging it's way to the Kissena Velodrome Star Track riders. Good kharma, we should do more of this!
Im planning on dropping of the bundle one day next week on 19th st in NYC , if anybody has anything else they want to donate , give us a call

Hey all,

My wife and I are hosting a holiday party at our home on Long Island on December 27th. Not exactly a Kissena announcement, but I realized that I only have email addresses for a subset of club members and my friendships in the club go beyond my email list. So... consider yourself invited.

I live in Rockville Centre which is on the Babylon line of the LIRR (but would need to cab, bike or walk 2.5 miles). I'm near the Souther Sate Parkway. Significant others and kids are welcome. Last year there was a group of kids in the basement playing ping pong, video games, etc.

It's an opportunity to hang out, eat, drink, and just have a good time - without having to wear your Kit. If you are interested or curious shoot me an email for more info.

Details:
Sunday Dec 27th
4-8pm
significant others and kids welcome

Thanks for the invite Patrick, our clan will be in Chicagoland during the party, but sounds like fun times. Love the idea of leaving kids in the basement while I get my nog on. (says the frazzled dad of a typical 3 year old)

I know what this is about.  I told you I'll be in California that week, so you rush to have a party when I'm out. (#unvite)

I'll send Yack in my absence.

Peter would hang with the adults. That kid knows how to party
We will drink a toast to you and that other long haired guy in our team #badwithnames

Need a venue for this years party. The thinking right now is a dive-bar and order in gourmet pizza. Week after Supercross Cup.
Isn't that Thanksgiving week? I think early December is better.

May I suggest talking to the folks at Strong Rope Brewery on President Street and 4th Ave in Brooklyn. They don't serve any food so are fine with people bringing it in from outside. The space is large enough to hold our group and their beer is really yummy.

Happy to reach out to them if you would like.

YES! Sounds perfect. Was thinking Monday night after SuperX. People take that whole week? December gets tough for a lot of people too.
That Monday night might work.

Let me reach out to them and report back if that night is an option.
I've been checking some venues for Thursday, Nov. 1 ...
Good timing, I need a drink.
@Jeffrey White @jim_nelson
Be great to wrap venue up in the next day or two.

Jim could you ask the rope people about Nov.1 date as well?

Jeff, when do you expect to hear back re availability?
Do you guys mean Dec?
Will do and I'll assume you mean Dec 1.
How we looking for a Dec 1 Par-taaaayyyy?

Looking good!
PARTEE TIME !!!

Weeknight parties with short notice are tough for those of us who don't live in Brooklyn, but I'll try and make it work. There needs to be a broader announcement to membership. I have a frameset etc that need to be raffled off to members who worked at Supercross
Heya organizers, Wufoo is saying that a party of 1 selection is an error.
Thanks for spotting David. Fixed, kind of.

(Wufoo forms won't let you proceed without making a selection from the dropdown. Default is now 0 so you have to select a number)
Will the party / open bar be continuing after 8 PM? On invite, I see party hours are from 5-8 but I work until 8, so wondering if it's worth coming

I'm sure we can run a tab for a few latecomers, food will be done though.
Last year folks stayed out well past 8
Folks familiar with venue, are they bike friendly? is there a place for me to park my commuter inside a fence as opposed to locking it outside?
I'll email the owner and find out. I have brought my bike in before so probably.
