Bump: Any movement on the "make a video for CycleOps" project? I don't know how important it is for our continuing relationship, or if it is important for us to continue with CycleOps, but I'm just thinking that if some mysterious powers on the club managed to put together the slickest (and mildly disturbing) video of our new kit, then surely we could take some of the shots that I think Joshua has on his iPad taken at Kissena's club cross championship, some of the video Malcolmson took on the GWB, plus my video from the cycleops warmup tent at the big NBX cross race, plus some select stills...

I don't know...I wish I could do it. I hate being a nudge for something I can't do myself, but I feel like we've got a club full of programmers and web folks and graphic designers and I don't know...
Hi all,

One member alerted me that the Rudy discount is coming out around 25%, rather than the 40% that we are supposed to have. I've written to our contact to clear this up and will post as soon as I have an answer.

UPDATE: I'm told its fixed. Please let me know if you have any trouble.
Attached is an updated sponsorship list. There are a few changes from the last one re: log ins and such.

Also, anyone who is wanting a Cannondale, please ping me about it. When we've got enough interest, I'll get with Ride Brooklyn to open another order.

FYI, not long ago we received our first check from Cannondale - $1,250 - and we'll get that same amount again next year. This is a really cool thing for us. Cash sponsorship is not easy to come by. It speaks to all the work that was done by many people to shine up our brand with better kits, website, social media, and marketing materials.
Not sure whats going on over at rudy - but there seems to be no discount at checkout. I get the same price after entering code as before.

Ok, in the "updated sponsorship list" the e-rudy vip code is lower case kissena - to get the discount you need to use all caps "KISSENA". I guess the list needs to be updated again
Rudy's running a 50% off deal this week on certain items...

@jfogden - "kissena" is the Iogin Rudy gave me, and I have not found it to be case sensitive. Just tested it.

Recently went to the cycleops team site, getting a "we no longer host" message. Any updated info on the program?

Aaron, scroll through this thread...there are details on all our current sponsorship deals. If memory serves, we get 10% off.
Aaron, I've been very happy with my Neuvations - especially for the price. And John is a pleasure to do business with (though if you get on his newsletter mailing list you may question his sanity at times).
@Aaron. I like the neuvations a great deal.
I'm a new Neuvation customer with the c55 tubular. So far very happy, both about price and product. And John responded immediately to my stupid question about brake pads.
I've had their R28SL wheels since last year, and no complaints so far.  Factor in what I paid for (cheap), and i've been a happy customer since.
I have 2 sets of neuvation tubulars. Alloy for cross, carbon for road. Both great considering the price
Aaron I have 3 sets of Neuvation wheels.  The R28 sl's...the M28 sl's and some carbon C50 tubulars for racing.  They are good wheels that are easily repaired, stiff and light enough.  They go where you point and em and stay true.  Can't ask for much more.  The R series hubs are very easy to disassemble to grease the pawls (2 allen wrenches).  Their customer service is great if something happens.  I cracked a rim and they asked me to cut out the hub and ship it back...they in fact sent me a brand new wheel not a rebuild.  That is pretty good.
yacks
I am also major Neuvation fan. Great wheels for an awesome price. Worth their weight in durability and maintenance-free life.

I don't want to rain on the "I love Neuvation" party, but...my rear hub occasionally, randomly, over the past two years doesn't freewheel sometimes.

Sorry, Marc, just saw this. Checking.
OK - I think its safe to assume, for now, that we no longer have anything with CycleOps.

They've been hard to pin down for some time. A few months back we had the opportunity to produce a video, which I put out to the club, and no one really took the initiative.

So, no CycleOps this year. I'll check with them again for the next cycle when we renew sponsorships for 2014.

Clean your pawsl hoss...it's as easy as putting an allen key in each side of the hub and turning...pop off cassette body with cassette attached and examine the pawls on the body and inside the drive ring...the spring that keeps the pawls down maybe getting stretched out or there may be dirt or sand mucking things up in there.  Neuvation will send you a rebuild kit (spring, pawls and end caps). The hub is a simple design and just needs a modicum of TLC to keep em humming...

Please see attached memo for details on how to access the Cannondale deal.
@marc: overhaul your freehub and oil your pawls!
Is there still a deal in place with Ritchey? The link I have isn't working. If there is can someone please post the link. Thanks.
The details are in this thread. You have to create an account with them if I recall correctly.
2014 Cannondale models UP!!
To be frank, their color scheme is God awful and it gets worse every year.

every year i become happier that i bought mine when they offered gulf oil livery.  this year, my bike turned red! http://www.cannondale.com/catalog/product/view/id/31027/s/caad10-4-rival/category/916/.  maybe it's just blushing at how awesome of a deal it is.
It's red...but at least it is not sitting on those god awful wheels...

Yeah, I'm pleased with my paint scheme (super stealth black is okay too)...although the 2014s have 11 speed, ...which seems sort of ridiculous to me now, but you know, in a few years, I'm going to get tired of "out-of-breath shouting, "Shimano 10-speed" to the neutral support dudes.
Wow.  Those are horrid.  Glad I got a 2011 Caad10. It's a simple, yet not boring, mix of classic/modern.  But no, they needed to put "10" or "EVO" all over the place in random spots.  Just so ugly.

The cx bikes don't look terrible, but man... Who ever designed and approved these paint schemes should be fired.
