An example of what another team is doing for their sponsor is this posted to their Facebook page with links to their own website: (takes time but is probably what we should be doing in this day in age)

Team Sixcycle-RK&O is proud to be sponsored by LOUIS GARNEAU - during the 2012 the team's custom LG kit performed spectacularly in a wide array of conditions. Check our complete thoughts on www.teamsixcycle.com

As part of this sponsorship the team raced and trained in Louis Garneau kit throughout the 2012 season – in temperatures ranging from well below freezing to upw...

As promised I have video of me from this weekend riding cycleops trainers. Needs to be edited into larger piece...do we have any video editor capable volunteers for this project?

Hey Ragot...any chance you have that super-sweet Fandango tyre deal again this year?
I have a pair of limus for $50 each.

Hey, there's a new Ritchey deal everyone. It's got it's own thread...click on over for details.
Guys,

The formatting of the sponsorship list gets wonky as more information is added. So, I will occasionally post a PDF of the list in this thread, posting dated, updated versions as updates are made. The first is here. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Any movement on the cycle-ops video? I know I have a clip or two. Joshua does too. Anyone else with pics, video and/or time to edit together a piece?
I have some footage of Handsome Joe with my CycleOps wheels at SuperCross. And Jules has some high-quality stills, as well. I'll post what I have. I am useless when it comes to editing, unfortunately.

Club,

I am very excited to announce that Kissena has entered into a sponsorship with Cannondale, the benefits of which will be as follows:

(1)  Cash sponsorship at $1,250 annually for two years, for a total of $2,500 over the two years.

(2)  A "grassroots" deal run through our shop sponsor Ride Brooklyn, with discounts on bikes and frames, as follows:

        (a) 40% off MSRP for Cat 1, 2, and 3 riders**; and
        (b) 20% off MSRP for Cat 4 riders.

**Certain Kissenas who are very active and visible in the club may access the 40% off MSRP discount regardless of their USAC category. "Visible" members will be defined as those who help KISSENA organize and promote over 50 races a year, who race often in and outside of NYC, who share the work of leading and organizing KISSENA’s dozens of group rides in the NYC area; etc. Eligibility for this provision will be at the discretion of KISSENA’s sponsorship committee, which consists of the Sponsorship Director, Vice President, and President.

More details on accessing the discount will become available as we set up the purchasing infrastructure with Ride Brooklyn. This should be done around the first of the year. Direct any questions to Ryan.

I want to personally thank the board, in particular Ryan, Myles, Eric, and Jules who really helped work to put this particular deal together. I think the fact that this came together is a testament to the hard work we have done over the past year. Our new visibility (kit, sponsor packet, website, facebook) makes us a valuable assest to sponsors and it really shows here.

Now Kissena riders, get a Cannondale!
Suuuuhhhweeet!
Ditto that! Visions of a Dale' cross rig are begging to take shape.
Suuuuhhhweeet!
yes marc. PLEASE get a new bike.

I want to see you go from quill stem to electronic groupo:

Joaquin is absolutely forbidden from getting anything that might potentially make him faster. I'm sick of getting my ass kicked in cross races by him.
Nice going.  Thanks!

I assume we're not at the level with them yet where they'd do a run of Kissena color schemed frames? (Not complaining,,,just asking.)
Awesome! Kudos to the board members who put his together.

Doubt it.

(But spend shitloads of money on their product and maybe we can bring it up a year from now!)

BTW... this deal is good across all platforms (road, cx, mountain etc...)
When they built and painted C'dales in the USA, this was definitely possible and I saw it.  Haven't seen custom paint since they moved production to Asia, with the exception of a few custom paintjobs for top-level pro's.

Definitely getting this: http://www.cannondale.com/2013/bikes/road/triathlon-time-trial/slice-rs/slice-rs-sram-red-black-edition-double-crankset When you rationalize it with the discount, it makes it worth it to get the firecrest 808's and hollow gram crank upgrades. Cat 4 domination to ensue.
Marc, don't worry buddy. If I keep eating the way I am now, I'll be at least 40 pounds heavier by the time we race again.
@JP-Yeah.  C'dale did great paint stuff for the Comedy Central and Sid's teams a few years back, but I think you're right that was during the made in America era.

Hey, here's a serious question/comment that I wouldn't mind hearing some opinions on. It seems to me, that if there's one bike in your stable where a solid set of 105 or Force or Athena gruppo would be perfectly appropriate, it would be on a TT rig. Sure, they weigh more, but does it matter on a rolling to flat TT?

For crit, cross or road racing, I want a tough as nails, light as possible group set that can keep up with the argy-bargy of less than elegant shifts that may happen under stress. But the controlled, calm environment of a TT? You want a smooth and positive shift that allows you to keep your rhythm and flow, but as near as I can tell even a Tiagra level gruppo would do that?

@ Marc - Agreed

These bikes are primarily aimed at the triathlon crowd, so they want their best components on their most important bike, which is their tt bike. And if you're racing long events (56-112 mile TT legs) you'll want a light bike for the hills if they do come.

Yeah, Jules let be borrow his Cervelo TT bike which actually isn't that light, but crushes it simply based on engineering/aerodynamics/positioning. Certainly wasn't bc of me.

I won my first PRO 123 race as a 4 on it!
Marc,
Suffice to write that when you're using bar end shifters on a tt rig, most of the mechanical groups shift about the same provided your using the same cables and housing, so people are buying for weight and appearance.  Your comment about cx and road racing isn't really operative as the 105/Rival/Athena level stuff either works as well as their top-shelf cousins (I'd put Campy and SRAM in this category), or very close (Shimano).  I'm of the mind that Ultegra 6900 probably shifts the front derailleur better than DA 7900 (DA 9000 is another story) and the SRAM Red titanium front derailleur cage might not have worked as well as the SRAM Force.  Shimano Tiagra has improved from the days when it had that teeny pain in the ass release button high up on the lever.

The weight issue depends on so many factors.  Yes, people will always bring up hills, but on gentle hills, the difference is really small.  And the faster one travels, the less weight makes a difference.  But if people don't know what's coming, and they've got the cash, they might as well spend.  The tri' crowd seems to spend even more freely on their bikes then bike racers. (on the club ride today, we passed a tri' group on Hudson terrace.  Four of the five guys were riding rear discs and aero helmets.)
I just upgraded my TT bike to Ultegra Di2. Tweaking the imprecise bar end shift levers via impossible wrist positioning while suffering through the events was annoying and distracting... to say the least. I felt like pushing a button would not only remedy that but also allow me to bury myself just a little bit deeper. I opted for the heavier Di2 because the other was too expensive. Ultegra Di2 isn't cheap though so using a 40% discount to get it is a wise choice IMO.
I was just taking to a Canadian about di2 for TT bikes; word from the pros is that they like them because they shift twice as often to preserve their rhythm - and keeping the effort seamless is crucial for them.

From my meager 15 or so hours on my new Di2 I can say I do the same on my road bike and it is glorious.
Updated sponsorship list - please note change to the Rudy code.
There's a super sweet 56cm Ultegra Di2 CAAD10 at Ride just wating to be snatched up. They're trying to blow it out too.

This Cannondale deal is legit!

this is hot

big ups, Ryan, et. al.

i see a fancy MTB in my future!!!
