As a foodie in the club, I'd like to ask --with great anticipation-- what, if any, discount Kissenas get at Atera. It's a bit odd to have such a high-falutin' restaurant sponsor the common man's cycling club, but with Atera's Portland provenance, there is a cycling connection. Anyhow, if we get 10% off or something, that would be like $100 on a dinner for two.

Hold shit!  Ride Brooklyn is opening up in Williamsburg.  I'll only have to go a few blocks to mooch my discount instead of a whole 20 minute ride.  Sweetness.

Anyone have any idea of the opening date?  It's on Kent Ave on the first floor of one of those horrendous condos down by the big skanky.

PBK.  If you have an account with points rewards, and wait for a sale, you can get one for under $200 with the complete kit (cadence, etc.).  At least I did last year.  But that was also b/c I had over 800 points.  If you dont' have an account, lemme know and I can check on mine and get it for you.  B/c points expire and I havent bought anything from them in a while.

The deal changed. Previously, we had to organize a group order. Under the current arrangement, individuals can order whenever they want. That is the good part. Unfortunately, the discount has been reduced at the discretion of cycleops.

It's really just what Cycleops is doing across the board; we are getting what every other team gets. They may increase the discount again, but we don't yet know.

Is there anyone interested in putting something like this together? I don't think it would have to be too fancy, it could be shot on about anything and simply edited.

It would be great to get a video submission from the Kissena team (or part of the team) so that we can show your gratitude to others. Social and digital media has a much longer arm than a logo on a jersey in the new technological age. As you know our sport is greatly non-spectator friendly as packs of riders zip by a logo on a jersey can be hard to see. These days we find greater value in digital and social media.  If you could rally the troops or have a handful of members who have benefited from the sponsorship in the past submit a 30-60sec video of how our products have helped train, race, lose weight, etc. that would be great.

We should do this...but make no mistake about it, it will take some serious effort to pull together a nice 60 second video... It would be nice if we could get our old discount back... I frequently use the cycle ops warm up tent when provided at bigger races...like Northhampton...also, I wear a black cycleops cap when racing...wonder if we could get them to send us a handful...and on the podium shots recently. I'll have Sarah shoot some footage of me at NBX, if they have the cycleops warm up tent there. Once shot though, I always have trouble sending the video via email because of file size. Ideally I'd send the raw footage to someone on the club with video editing skills to splice it in to the final product. We've got a few guys that race pt wheels in cross...maybe we can shoot some b-roll at supercross....I'll bring out my Pt trainer that weekend too for warming up, errr....video purposes. We could take some before stills of josh and some current video of him at super cross for the weight loss bits...we won't tell anyone it was thanks to computrainer though! If my brain is working I'll try to "storyboard" a video idea, so we can maybe have a rough outline of our 60 second promo in order shoot. Who has video equipment?

I've got a PT open pro mavic wheel on my road bike , a PT on my track bike, a Saris rack, and a Cyclops set of rollers. Saris\Cyclops can take all the credit in the world for my weight loss if it helps build the club some good credit for a continuing discount.

Any way to integrate the snippet of K. team members from the Girl Talk video into the clip (with the director's permission of course).?
