     I wouldn't do it with that valve extender.  You're risking gumming up the actual valve.

The stealth evo “upgrades” are merely a firmware update packaged as a new product. There is nothing new under the hood and therefore this “upgrade” really should be a free firmware update to give functionality that should have been there in the first place.

I think cateye should stand up and provide a firmware update to stealth 50 owners.

Ordering up some odds n ends. Looking for recommendations.

White bar tape for road bike. Grippy better for my slippery hands. Also, maybe something that cleans up nicely. Not fussy about how much cush. I'm not going to go track tape but I'm also thinking I don't need Roubaix/cross style thickness.

Lizard skins.

My white lizard skins looked like a cigarette filter after about 2 weeks of riding.
Lately I've been using Pro Digital Carbon tape...$15 shipped on Ebay...Also the Sram cork tape is good...it's cork...not that rubbery feeling synthetic stuff like the Pro tape (which I like)

However, it is important to wash light-colored tape periodically if you want it to stay looking clean.  When I wash my bike, I squirt some degreaser on the tape and hoods, then a soapy sponge before rinsing.

If super-grippy isn't so important, then Fizik.  It stays really clean and when dirty cleans up well.

My white lizard skin bar tape turned yellow jersey from exposure to sunlight. Seriously, the bike was just hanging up. Never ridden. 

I switched back to Cinelli cork.

I'm a fan of the fizik microteck, it stays white/clean much longer than most. Tried lizard skins, did not like it, not for me.

I like both lizard skins and arundel, but i could never get either back to being nice and white. I ended up just changing the tape every 2 weeks, which made me pretty damned proficient at taping bars. 

Then i just decided on black tape, which is saves me a lot of time and money.

Hey Training Peaks and/or WKO users. Do you have a preference? What's the difference? I'm thinking about plunking down some cash on a new software for my power reading. The way the copy reads about the new WKO, is vague and seems to imply it's for "coaches."

I do like the idea of plunking down cash one time and being done with it, as opposed to being tied to a subscription service...but other than that I honestly don't have a preference currently.

TP lets you & your coach share files & commentary at a single point. WKO is far more powerful in terms of what you can analyze, and you can always email files back & forth.

FWIW, I've actually been okay with the Saris stuff, except, my old computer won't take the latest update, and my Joule GPS+ doesn't get recognized anymore. Lately I've been using bluetooth for wireless updates into the free version of TP, but I actually don't love it, and the free trial of the "premium" version didn't seem that great either. I think I got an email for a free trial of the WKO, maybe I should give it a whirl.

     If these are your limits, then you might be better off with the cloud. 

     With PowerAgent, they recently released a new version.  You also need to  upgrade to the latest Java.  I'm guessing that both are why your Joule GPS+ doesn't get recognized anymore.

     I don't know the specifics of your computer, but you will probably need to upgrade to OS X 10.10 to use WKO4.  I've been looking for the system requirements, but haven't found them yet.  And if you're on 10.7 or earlier, upgrading to 10.10 could be an issue, both in terms of hardware and software.

Anyone with Di2 -- how do you like it? What pros/cons have you encountered while using it? Comparing groupos and really curious about electronic shifting. 

I've used Di2 since 2009. Di2 and a really well dialed in mechanical set up shift the same at the rear. Front shifting is easier with Di2.
However Di2 does not need adjusting like mechanical does. Set it once and forget. 
I have also found Di2 to be much more sympathetic to wheel swaps, where cassette alignment may differ. It still just works great.
I have also ridden Campagnolo Record EPS. That is also freaking awesome. It looks great too. But it is far from cheap. (Although with the euro being the way it is you could buy from Germany at good $$ price now.)

I saw this bike in person last week...not to be a Luddite or curmudgeon but I honestly wouldn't ride it if you gave it to me.  It's no longer a bicycle but not yet an e-bike...it's "transitioning"...I would much prefer a high end Lynskey or Gaulzetti or some such over this hollowed out plastic affront to velocipedes !!!! (whoops, got a bit curmudgeony there)
