i hate all of you.  this looks so fun but instead i have to take a standardized test in rural new jersey.

What are the teams? Is this a gentlemen's race format?

Teams are being decided schoolyard style on the day of the race. I'd hardly call this group "gentlemanly" 

i'll be the kid scratching his balls.

Looking for a ride up to the fun for myself, my bike, and my lady friend. Would be willing to go in on a rental if anyone is interested in that, as well. Holler!

You're welcome to a ride in my car along with David Stokes.

I'll be driving up from Brooklyn but need to be home at 3:00pm so won't be able to stick around and offer a ride home to those racing.

If anyone was intending on taking Metro North or wants to go up for just part of the day and ride around the area or help out I'd be happy to have you along. I can fit 3 more and their bikes.

Bus back to Brooklyn will probably leave by 12:45pm so if you go out riding and are not back you may have to sleep under William's porch (and we all know what happened to the last guy that did that). 

Sorry folks but I misunderstood my schedule. Funny how that can happen.

I need to be back in town by 1:00 so I'm going to take a pass this year and probably race BB in the morning.

re Teams: Can I suggest we use old/new jerseys to distinguish friend from foe?
Those who are able could bring a new jersey and a couple of old jerseys to make sure we have enough to go around.

orange/white helmets are another idea, but I'm not sure we would have enough.

Or perhaps WDC has something else in mind, eg, tattooing on our calves.

WilliamDC has a collection of used rider vests from the 5 Borough Bike Tour he's going to be distributing to us all.

sorry to hear about your re-injury at Red Hook.  I was there but didn't even see the crash.  Im 95% sure we have a ride for you Saturday.  I;m going to double check right now.

 

 

@Jeffrey White-  Want to confirm that you and your special lady and one bike will be riding up and back with me and Stokes on Saturday. Or did you find someone more exciting to get a ride with?

William, I am totally on-topic. I for one would be excited to wear a 10 year old unwashed 5BBT bib. Those things will last 10K years.
