I have dropped out with a sore back- hoping to return to the Tour with some better form. 

The velogames fantasy tour is back after a hiatus last year. No reference to the TdF on it. Its called the "Great Big Bike Game XXII"

The velogames Fantasy is still my favorite (and we can use the same code as with the classics campaign: League Name: Kissena - League Code: 92112327)  but the ASO game (now sponsored by Tissot and Flosports) is also fun.

I created a league if anyone is interested in joining me. It allows you to swap some riders during the race which keeps you in the game if your rider crashes out or gets covid:

This has been a fun battle on VeloGames (mostly because I'm doing well for once). Although I have Gilbert and he abandoned on the first stage. 

I would expect we will be hit with more abandons soon. Probably a tour of attrition (crashes + Covid) this year

@Mark Taylor I got the same message when setting up for LBL. I think there is a glitch. Figured I’d do it tomorrow 

I set up a giro squad and was automatically in the Kissena league. Assuming it’s the same one as for the TDF. I saw you in there (as well as Jeff and Jim). 

Only three stages into the Giro and it has been bonkers.

Stage one: Lopez has a bizarre crash only meters from the finish line, the winds buffet the former TT champs like a rag doll in a puppy's mouth
Sage two: Vlasov quits due to a stomach bug (I had him on my team)
Stage 3: Thomas crashes in the neutral section and loses buckets of time and Simon drops out of contention after his time was charging hard most of the stage

On a positive note the winners of each of the first three stages was dramatic and well earned

It's like Jeff and I are watching a different race....

I think the winner of the giro fantasy league may be whomever still has COVID-19 free riders in the third week.

Not sure what mcnulty was doing today. Glad he got second, and maybe that was his goal, but his move only gained him something like 4 seconds on GC
