hey y'all - i'm in to marshall (via google doc) for an L&C Cup Race tomorrow morning, but when i surfed over to Charlie's website it doesn't indicate that there is a race tomorrow.  what gives? is this happening, or is the google doc incorrect?

The L&C cup has been moved to the 22nd. But there is Masters race tomorrow anyway. Run by Charlie.

Attempting a bit earlier this week to make sure we have the necessary volunteers for this coming weekend's L&C race. As of right now there are none. We need both registration help and someone to marshal. The marshal captain's duties are slightly different than described below because of the road construction. Instead of roving the park, you'll be stationed at the construction site making sure that other cyclists and joggers aren't entering the racing lane. You also get to act like a Grenadine during the tour waving a flag overhead to make sure the peloton avoids the barrier separating the joggers lane from the racing lane.

Arrive at Prospect Park by 6:00 AM. Get acquainted with the marshals and take note of their positions in the park. Once races start, ride slowly around the park, checking on the course marshals and making sure everyone has what they need. Serve as a communication link with Charlie I. Once the race is finished, let the marshals know they are done and return to the start finish. If you do this job, you race another race for free.

3.      We start at 6AM, registration closes at 5:50AM.  Please show up on time.  The registrars are all Kissena Cycling Club volunteers who also race.  They need at least 10 minutes themselves to get ready to race.  It’s not fair to them when you arrive 2 minutes before the race and they have to register you.

Heads up.. nothing official from Charlie, but for this Sunday's Kissena Spring Classic, we will probably need volunteers to help out at registration. So if anyone can show up a little earlier than start time, it'll be appreciated.

can't make it this weekend, but once y'all have a volunteer sheet up, i'll try to turn out to do some marshaling/registration this spring once it warms up a bit....

The first L&C cup race is this Saturday and we need volunteers to help out with registration. This is  kissena Club sponsored race so we need to help out Charlie.

Someone pencil my name in for the 1/2/3  didn't realize Charlie was closing online reg 2 days out this year...I doubt 36 cat I/II/III's will show...but it can't hurt to put the fix in...

Folks - apologies for late notice.  Our kids' AYSO soccer schedule has been updated and it's not kind for marshaling races or manning the KOM spot.   A slew of early morning games means I'm not going to be able to do anything this month.   Spreadsheet is updated to reflect where I had to drop out....
