The issues with gravel frames for cx are as follows: bottom bracket height--gravel frames are often lower than a road bike, which makes them much lower than a traditional Belgian cx frame (think Ridley), gravel frames have a longer front-center and longer trail to minimize toe overlap with 45mm tires, and (most likely) weight.  Some frames might have a sufficiently low top tube that putting ones arm through the frame to shoulder it can be hard.  

I doubt he'd ride a re-badged frame.  Too many people would know it.  

And the Aspero doesn't look bad.  If Wout wants to get low, maybe he'll run a -17 stem.

I have searched and cannot find ..... any update on the British granny who demolished Team Sunweb on their training camp. The last news article I can find is from 11/2016 and indicates that she is facing criminal and civil cases. And then nada. Something must have happened in the intervening four years,

Anyone know of a link to any update.

(I am just interested because I like stories to have an ending - ideally happy)

Nice one JP. One thing I always wondered was how much of an economic effect there was in Louisville because the CX Worlds were all held on Saturday. I'm sure some folks left town early but many of us stuck around the full weekend because we already had a hotel and flights booked. I stuck around with my brother and a buddy from Portland and ended up spending way more money around town than we otherwise would have. Instead of beers and food truck meals at the venue we ate at restaurants, instead of spectating at the event, we went indoor go-kart racing (and we definitely weren't the only cyclists at the place).

I feel like it must have taken some serious planning and analysis to find a 100mi route with a tailwind the whole way. And 290+wNP is no kidding either.

I hate this.  

That written, I'm hugely frustrated that women have not organized themselves to do something about this (and it seems that male professional riders have only done a marginally better job, if that).  that's what workers in other industries do.  I expect someone will counter something about cut throat competition, short career span and the rest.  Same goes just about everywhere people are unpaid or underpaid.  At the very least, the women should be up front about it, tell the world this is happening, and try to shame the teams, the UCI, their paid teammates and competition into doing something.  I don't see getting fired over telling the truth about being unpaid as a terrible thing.  They can race independently, with men, crush Strava segments, something, rather than take part in exploiting themselves.

sucks, big times sucks, but unsurprising given 2020. Some of the list are maybe symbolically without contract, like every Colombian on that list is gonna be hired, McCathy, etc...

Same! I saw him pop up at the Tour? Giro? randomly a few times and was caught completely off guard. Homie is still rolling on the world stage even if he's carrying bidons around.

TGH doesn’t have this pink Pinarello, though. A truly unique one-of-a-kind Pinarello, from back when they actually made custom bikes out of steel. Owned by a friend of mine (that’s my older son in the background).
