This is amazing to me. Yeah, I get it, it's true. It's probably not realistic to expect his form to hold for July. But right now this fractured, troubled team needs a leader to stand up and take charge.

Really, NYPost he was selling something into the car door? How am i shocked the post can't get the cause and effect of getting doored if they can't tell the difference between pedal and peddle. The door was open and he freakishly rode into it. (or if the Post was writing it "he road into the door"). 

That's two cycling deaths in one week, completely the fault of the drivers where no "criminality" was suspected.  Nice job, NYC.

So, wait, the guy was doored?  From the Post's story, I thought the "freak accident" was that he T-boned a parked car. Getting doored isn't a freak accident: I came within a few inches of getting doored for a second time en route to the race Sunday.

I think they wanted to use "freak" in the lede because the guy was a circus worker. Classy indeed.

I had a sanitation "official" lecture me about having Leroy on his leash even though I was standing with it right next to him while he was sitting under a tree.  Good to know where the priorities are in the power-tripping city employees with a badge.

Can sanitation people even demand ID and write you a ticket?
