The Food and Drink Ride

I suggest September 5th, 6th or 19th as my initial recommendations.
I should be solid for 9/5 or 6.
September 5 and 6 does fall on Labor Day weekend, so there may be a lot of folks outta town.
Good point.  19th might work for me, but only during the first half of the day.
Breakfast beer gardens?
We're never going to find a perfect time. This may call for a couple of options and we see who can come when. If there only was some way of conducting some way of asking members when would be good for them to join. alas, we may be thwarted without some sort of polling feature.
everyday is food and drink ride day!
Short notice, but I'm formulating a "Decadent Breakfast Ride" for this Saturday the 19th, ending with Sixpoint IPA on tap at LIC Landing for lunch.

NOOOO!

I am out of town this weekend.
That was my intention.

Just kidding!

Pick a weekend!
I can do Saturday, October 10th!
Looks like a good date to do it on, no cross races.

I'm still planning on a truncated version this Saturday if anyone is interested.

NO CROSS RACES!?!?

Food and drink ride next Saturday? Who's in?
YESSS!

Lt Dan?
Okay, how does the food and drink ride work?  Should we suggest places to go?  Or is there a usual route?  I suggest donut plant!
On the list.

I think we can work off the places that have been posted by myself, Dan, and others.  The end to all of this is which establishment we should end it with (that has sponsor Six Point beer on tap).  Or we can do old skool bad boi/grrl brown bagging on the Manhattan Bridge.
What time does this thing start?
Should we meet at 9:30AM at Donut Plant on Flatbush and roll out from there?
Perfect!  Plain clothes, right?  No kit.
Yes dress like a civilian, with the following considerations:

Clothes need to be comfortable for riding
Clothes need to be comfortable with a full belly

I like overalls (the bibshorts of the bluegrass set), but I will probably be wearing jeans instead.
Awesome!  I'll update this post as we flesh it all out.

Also, civvies are fine, but it would be great if people wore a KCC cap or something, you know so we can brag on social media.

Itinerary:

9:30a
Doughnut Plant
245 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11217

Full sized or compact banjo?

Come on Jules, get your terminology right. They're called Banjos if they're full sized and Banjitos if they are 110 bcd.
Some additional information for those of you interested in this.

David and I are compiling a list of delicious stops for our food and drinks ride. This is a no-drop ride. So if you spill doughnut filling on the sidewalk, you will be mercilessly shamed.

Things to bring:
Your bad self
A helmet (this is a Kissena joint, so we like you to wear your safety kippah even on a social ride).
Cash - many of these places are cash only.
A lock - we will need to lock up some places so we can share some but it is helpful if you've got your own.
Lights - in case you are out late
Normal Repair stuff - you know, tube, inflator, multi-tool, tire levers, etc.
Kissena accessory - hat, socks, arm warmers, vest...so we can post this up on social media and talk about/represent our bad selves and rad sponsors.

I think @Brian Miele and his wife, Karla, may be in as well.  Is that true?
