Guys , looking for a show of hands hereMark Taylor said:
With the season upon us, JP will be hosting is legendary , Road bikes at the Track clinic. Now time for us to get started. It is time for us to get better as riders, better as racers, better as teammates,
We'll be drilling pace lining. We'll be drilling attacking. We'll be drilling bridging. Blocking. We'll be drilling full-contact riding (on the grass infield for this one, we're not crazy). We'll be going fast, we'll be having fun, we'll be on the TRACK and we'll be together as a team.
The track is insanely fun. But also it's a safe, controlled environment. The track is ideal because not only is it away from traffic, but with the short lap we have obvious markers to use, especially for leadout practice. Also, we can easily watch all the efforts unfold from anywhere, whether we're participating in a drill or just watching.
WHAT
Road bikes on the track, skills, drills, teamwork.

I'm riding from Harlem to Kissena for the sunday track session.
I'll meet anyone who wants to ride from Manhattan at 59th street and 5th ave, at the southwest corner.
9:10 to meet. 9:15 to roll.

Looking at the racing schedule, it seems that THIS SUNDAY (aka June 23) could be a day for this.
Meet at the track at 9am. We'd have about 90 minutes before people start arriving to warm up for the track meet starting at noon.
Any interest?

Please use the "hotness" button if you are planning on coming.

The "disagree" button if you can't make it.

He thinks they'll be done before 10 and it's unlikely that racers for the noon meet will show before 11.
so, I suggest we meet at the track at 9:30, do some bumping drills in nearby grass, and see if we can get on the track by 9:50 or so.

this is the easiest place to practice lead outs. I know that's been an issue in races this year. Hoping to help so that you guys can kill it at the end of races, or for intermediate sprints.

I was thinking of leaving around 8:30am. I think it should take a bit less than an hour from Central Harlem.
Can meet up here, at a spot in CP, or somewhere on the outside.
peoples, who is coming?
How about meeting at 59th and 5th avenue, southeast corner, at 8:40am? Roll at 8:45.
