If it's on a day when Jeff and I are around, we can take one person more in the car.
The track advantages are several.David Yang said:JP I like the track because it's like 5 minutes from my house, but how about also holding these drills at Rockleigh? Might be a good way to entice people who want to get in their Sunday miles but still want to get in on the clinic action.
It's difficult. This week is too soon (I think). The week after we have both the meet kissena ride and the first prospect park race. In April, the track is used more frequently.Jeff and I are out of town. I REALLY want to do this, can we do a different time?
Not to leave Jill out, but if the other Kissena wimmin show up, then they can practice some now, and it will be easier for them to practice here or elsewhere later.David Yang said:Jill we'll have to set up another session, maybe geared towards the women's squad because you'll all be racing together.
James,JamesShaw said:Can I get in on this with my single gear? Aim is to have gears by April so I can start racing. If not I'll ride out with you guys just to find the velodrome.
can you bring a few chainrings? I figure folks will be riding 53x16 or 15 for some of the faster drills.JamesShaw said:Completely understand JP. I'd love to get involved (I'll be riding a bigger gear than Sunday) but more than happy to just ride my own session. See you Sunday.
Agreed. Though I think the bigger deal is staying warm, as the snow doesn't look like it's coming for a while.David Yang said:Let's keep an eye on the weather. It would suck for people to get stuck riding back home on snowy/slick roads.
