One thing I just remembered. The Morning Glory Cycling Club of Toronto somehow got their custom jersey into Zwift. I only recognized it because I know their founder (Toronto small world thing) and spotted the kit during yesterday's race.

I would think Charlie could help us get this done, because... #COMEON

Zwift has historically said "nope" to any custom kit requests outside of major industry partners. CRCA has one from the early days since Eric Min was on one of their teams I believe, but I can't remember the last time I've seen it in game.

I would think it would be relatively easy to stand up a custom kit tool and monetize it either by unlocking it for clubs or teams for a fee or requiring X number of registered club/team paid members and then offer a discount annual rate to scale up long term membership, but what do I know I'm not a game dev. I'm sure they have easier/quicker ways to generate revenue (like raising their rates a few years back, lol).

Yeah that’s all Bullshit. Some teams get custom kits, sone do not. Kissena has been helping Charlie put on races for over a decade. Bailing him out (literally) and figuratively with the parks service, and manning his races when he couldn’t get staff.

Eeeeeehhhhhhhh, it would be cool to have sweet KCC kit on Zwift, but calling in a favor to the powers that be in the Product Team so that... 10? 20? of us can wear it in game? I wouldn't want to put that on him. 

Again the better value prop for a PM/dev team would be a general custom kit tool that they can monetize off of, but again that's probably in the lower quadrant when it comes to revenue generating features they've got in the pipeline.

Of course not but it’s a small shop, he could get it to happen or help us.

Agreed with Dave though, it’s a small number of racers. I think the tool isn’t the problem it’s the moderation.

Last thing they need are a bunch of dick pic jersey’s or worse...

The level of customer support you would need for both the designs and the purchasing, would be likely be out of proportion for the feature. Agree with you, I am sure they have considered this, and probably landed nowhere when compared to the million other features in their roadmap.

Zwifted a bit today; the phone app drops constantly, doesn’t remember private chats and it’s seemingly impossible “join a friend” who is already riding. How the fuck is this state of the art in 2020?

@Jules Not to cut Zwift too much slack, they've got some big ole drawbacks, but I was having issues with the phone app dropping and it ended up being my wifi connection. In my case I was juuust out of range where my computer was solid but my phone wasn't consistent enough to keep the app up. I don't know what your wifi situation's like but it could be a relatively simple fix if that's the cause of the drops.

I had this problem as well. Bought a 50ft Ethernet cable to wire my laptop to the router #technology 

Im using apple tv zwift app; my phone runs the zwift companion app. I think im going to try turning off cell service
and see if that improves things.
