KIT IS READY FOR PICKUP!

When: Friday July 27th 5-8pm
Where: 713 Union Street (My home)

If you can't make it, your you can pick it up at Ride Brooklyn anytime during store hours.

If you wanted more, or you entered your order after the cutoff (Aaron) don't despair.  We'll reopen the store in a week or so.
(In the unhappy event anything is amiss, please be patient.  This was an unholy amount of work for those involved)

Enjoy

Sa-weeet! I'll be there tomorrow and styling this weekend. Thanks, Jules.

@ Aaron, yes XS wasn't in our "stock" of kit.  Sorry.
I'm bringing the hooch! By saying "pickup" you meant drunken revelry and imposing upon you, right?
YES.
ZOMG!

Miz Roazen in the house!

so so sad i'll miss it tomorrow . . . was getting mucho excited to meet a real live pirate!

Will the manatees be there?
Punch and Pie?
I already have my stuff (thanks Jules/Christian).  I look so good.  Walked around naked a lot last night, then put my new kit on.  Felt so good.

On a serious note; I got the orange chamois this time, previously having had the grey stuff.  Whichever cnut gave me the grey stuff with my initial Kissena membership deserves a slap.  There is no comparison.  I have been violated.
sweet.

go on . . .
Just curious, is there any "stock" kit available, and if so, how can we pay for it? I'm just looking for a basic jersey and bib right now.
@ Adam, I agree but astonishingly there are ardent fans of both.  Go VOTE and let your opinions be known.

@ Konrad there is some stock kit, I'll post the inventory once we distribute what was ordered. You can pay via the online store and pickup at ride after I've confirmed with you.
By the way, if you cannot make today at my place, please post here and let me know - it will save us time packaging for RB and sorting later in the afternoon.

Thanks

YES!!!!  Thank you Jules and co.!

I can't pick up the kit today - I'll be at work until 8pm.  I'll plan to get it from RB tomorrow, if that works.
Details:
  • Anything that isn't picked up by about 7:50 is going to get ferried over to RB
  • Each kit is in a bag with a copy of the original order stapled to the bag
    • Each bag has been checked & initialed twice (Thanks Ross & Whitey)
    • CHECK THE CONTENTS OF YOUR BAG vs THE ORDER
    • Initial the order and leave it with us
    • If you pick up from RB leave the (initialed) order with them
  • Our place isn't big enough to host a party of 80 so move along folks nothing to see here in a polite sort of way :)  Mission Dolores is just around the corner and a great place to have a post kit-pickup celebratory drink.  Hopefully I'll be able to join after 9pm if anyone is still there.
Jules - wish I was in town to pick up the kit but sadly I have to be in London to watch the men's road race tomorrow.

Back on Sunday morning and I'd love to pick up the kit from RB then!
Josh C will be grabbing my kit, because he's the man.
Jules: WDC will NOT be in attendance tonight.  I'll get it from RB.  Thanks so much for your help.

^that's the KCC spirit.
Hey Jules I sent you a message Wes is going to grab my stuff it that ok.

Jack
BK gang - if I remember correctly, Mission Dolores is indoor bike against the wall behind our table friendly ...right ?

IE - I don't have a "lock up outside" bike.

They've never made a fuss before. I'd bring your lock anyway, though.
No problem Jack/John :)
My wife is getting a kick out of Kissena and I both being born in 1963. Not sure if I like that or not...
OK FOLKS:

Kit will be dropped off at Ride Brooklyn sometime tomorrow morning.  Here is the drill:
  • check the contents of your bag against the invoice stapled to it
  • SIGN OR INITIAL the Invoice
  • LEAVE THE INVOCE WITH RIDE BROOKLYN!
  • If anything is wrong/missing with the package, please leave it as-is at RB with a note and email me
If you are racing please make EVERY EFFORT to rock the new "KCC50" Kit

While you are causing whiplash left & right because you kit looks so damn fine, remember to be a good citizen; you are representing 50 years of racing and racers.

If you see Ross or Graydon out there, be sure to give the a fist bump for all the hard work.
jfogden - Happy almost 50th !
