Anybody have an XL long sleeve jersey I could try on?  The Large one I got is much tighter than the short sleeved ones and not quite long enough in the sleeves.

Thanks
It is not tight, you got fat.
Fat guy here, LOL-ing.
While this is true, it's still not long enough. Considering "club cut" for the first time. Midlife crisis...

So I spent the holiday week in the Chicago suburbs. It was basically a week of eating out for 3 meals a day with friends and then going out for drinks with friends.

So fast forward to work on Wednesday. I'm thinking to myself, there is something wrong with the buttons on this shirt because it seems like its puckering. I try to make some adjustments but... no I just gained a lot of weight. So it will be a sweater and cardigan type of month until I burn some of this off.

^Area man spotted doing 27mph laps in a cardigan. Local racers seen weeping with rage.
I, too, picked the wrong time to order a medium jersey (or size 33 jeans). Change my initials to M.A. - mo' ass.
Back that thang' up stearns!
I picked up my clothing order from ride Brooklyn ,and everything I ordered on line with champion systems is there, however I didn't get the short sleeve jersey and bib that I was due upon joining the club ,how do I get hold of them
I didn't order this time around but I did renew my membership with a new kit attached.  Did someone magically order them for me already or do I still have to order it meself?

Hi Daniel,

Your kit wasn't ordered, and you were not charged.  We have stopped including the annual "new kit" because it's cheaper for you to order it yourself.  There will be a new order early in Feb that you'll be able to hop onto in time for spring racing.  Sorry about the confusion.

Anybody order one of the new wind vests?  My old 2010 one was really terrible from ChampSys; just poor fitting and the zipper was the worst.  But I'm thinking they've improved the design like they have on many of their articles.

Thanks

I never thought there could be that much difference between leg warmers, but the new fleece leg warmers are by far the best constructed leg warmer I've ever worn. They look great too.

^ got some too and like them.  They're a bit loose at the ankle (maybe I have teeny girl ankles, better than cankles tho right?).

The only real issue I have is that the cool design Ros made with the colored stripes at the bottom gets covered up with booties on.  Maybe it could extend up a little farther in the future.

But those mixed with the fleece bib shorts = toasty warm down to 30 degrees. Rawk.
i got a new wind vest - seems largely comparable to the old version.  collar is a bit 'deeper' if that makes sense.  not the most comfortable element - but i think i might mind it less if i was out on a super cold, windy day and wanted the extra protection.  the zipper doesn't seem to be any better or worse - it jammed the first time i wore it.  it's fixed now, and i go as slow as a mohel when i use it now....one slip could be disastrous.
i like to think of the champsys zipper as the royal deluxe II of wind vests

^but is it kosher?
I spent 10 bucks and had that terrible zipper replaced with a white plastic number 5. It is now even better than the new leg warmers - which are truly awesomesauce.

@Jules - where did you have the vest altered?
I don't have the new vest but I did get the full windbreaker; I seem to be one of very few people who like those. Anyway, I ordered an XS because my S in the old design was huge. It fits great.

Jules, I can't believe how quickly the last order came in.  I picked up my new wind vest yesterday afternoon at Ride Brooklyn. Just wanted to say THANK YOU for the billions of hours you donated to the Kissena kit ordering process!
When's the next order?

Just picked up my thermoshield PRO - holy Moses I look sexy.  Thanks Mattie for the plug and Jules for all the hard work!
When's the next order?
Mid Feb

Hey all - did anyone else get the new lycra leg warmers?  I wear a medium, but these are soggy bottom boys as soon as I put them on.  I'm not sure if it's the thin grippers or different sizing, but they are no bueno for me!

Explain.

I got the fleece leg warmers and they're great, but really loose at the ankles. The large seems to fit true-to-size as far as length goes and sufficiently snug at the top (although yeah, they're a bit loose throughout).

I wear size M and they fit well...
My size large is baggy in spots.....medium seems like it'd be too small but who knows....guess I'm a tweener.
Ok folks, we're updating the sponsors on the kit and making a few small changes (Razor Bibs, dark blue booties anyone?) in anticipation of the first Kit Order of the year.

Bookmark this thread so you don't miss the annoucement, and remember you need to have your DUES PAID for 2013 to buy kit.

thank you @jules.

when are you planning on opening and closing the order?

@ William when I have dates I'll post them. I want to open the store ASAP but it depends how long Champ Sys takes to incorporate out proofs.

Ideally we can open the store this month and leave it open for 2 weeks.

That should get us clothes in March.
