Hey all on the clothing order I see there are two types of Jerseys: SHORT SLEEVE JERSEY - FULL ZIP & SHORT SLEEVE JERSEY - FULL ZIP - SUMMER. What is the difference? Is one more standard than the other?

Summer weight has a differnt fabric, people seem to like it. I'm going to get a short / jersey set in summer weight to try it out.

The summer jersey has mesh fabric to make it more breathable and cooler. Other than that they look exactly the same. The summer jersey is nice on days like this where the temps are over 90 and humid. The same is true for the bibs where the side panels are mesh.

It probably keeps you cooler, though, and I guess that comes before propriety

After riding Rapha and Castelli chamois the old CS chamois I have don't really cut it... is it possible to get a pair of shorts with the CS Endurance chamois?

that was an old old pair of regular bibs before the lower back panel was 2-ply

the summer jersey i have is not see through and is MUCH better than the regular jersey above 70 degrees

The summer jersey is the C-S Baselayer sublimated, with stretch-mesh side panels like the mesh of the C-S bibs. The main panels don't stretch as much as on the regular jersey.

I picked one up a few years ago on the chance it might be cooler on hot days. Originally, I thought over 90f, then 80f, now, if I'm racing, 75f. Cooler is more efficient.

The summer bibs have the standard spandex panels, save the Kissena panels on the sides and the C-S triangle panels. These are made of what seems to be the bib mesh sublimated. I find them very comfy, though not as big a difference between the regular and summer jersey.

The summer skinsuit has a completely mesh top. Very cool. Could wear it easily on 90-degree track days.

One big question I have on the cool Summer-mesh jersey:

If I am wearing this on an all-day ride, is my back going to be fried by the sun? IOW, does it still block the UV?

Regarding your question, it seems to have sufficient UV protection as I have yet to notice a burn through the jersey.

I am completing the orders this evening and everyone should get their confirmations either this evening or tomorrow. Once that process is done I will announce that it is done and the order is off to Champ-System.
