When/where can I pick it up?

Pay online or to you?

I might do a few laps of FBF Tuesday night with it :)
Mark, I'll send you instructions via email.  I can drop it at Ride today with the other stuff.

Thanks for the effort Jules.
Question - are there any "stretchy" sport caps leftover/extra from recent orders? If so I'd love to snag one. The other caps are fine for wearing around but the 'shroom head is kinda....lumpy under the helmet.
Yes we have a bunch.
Thanks for letting us know about the missing items.

Does anyone need to switch from a size medium to a large in the long sleeve fleece jersey? I got a large and its a bit baggy? We could do an old switch-aroo. I only wore it once.

Any idea when the next clothing order will open up? Some new bib shorts with the new kissena logo would intensify my race efforts...and make my butt look good.
As soon as I finish sorting out the shit show from the last order where people ordered stuff without proofs we can open a new one...
Team cell phone covers!!!  Yay!!
Hey Jules- if there's any left after last weekend, could I grab a 2012 med jersey? Tech cap & gloves would be great too if still around

Hi Dave, we can't sell older kit to poeople who don't have current kit - that would be a poke in the eye to our sponsors.  You can check the inventory in the spreadsheet above (it is current) and let me know offline.
Great thanks!
Hey all, just a friendly reminder.  After the kit is dropped at Ride Brooklyn you have 30 days to pick it up after which KCC is NOT RESPONSIBLE

Like all stories told by Brits this one is going to start with 'When I was in ...' only this time the country involved isn't some part of the world we decided to invade and then govern (if having drinks on the lawn and complaining about the weather is considered the principle acts of government). Anyway, I digress.

When I was in Italy recently I raced in some Gran Fondos. These are similar to the US events in name only. With between 700 and 12,000 participants it is common for teams to arrive the day before the event and leave the day after (making a weekend of it, shall we say). What impressed me and especially my wife was how well dressed in their team outfits the riders were. This was when they were out for dinner the evening before, attired in matching polo shirts, wool track jackets, etc.

I would estimate that every team I saw out socially was at least in matching polo shirts. Many also had track jackets. Fewer (but still impressively significant) had matching pants or shorts. A select few wore matching sneakers (think classic Gola and Puma).

Given that we seem to have quite a few riders who travel together to races, house together for the big events out of town, and clearly race well as a team, I wonder if there is any interest is us having at least Kissena polo shirts, and maybe trainer jackets ?

I observed that this 'apres cycle' wear typically takes the most sombre color from team kit and keeps other colors to a minimum (this is most fortunate since fluoro yellow and green are very popular with Italian teams now). So for example a KCC polo could be simply our blue, with orange and white piping around the sleeves and collar.
Also they tend to simply state who they are, and miss out all the sponsors. This helps the outfit stay refined and of course insulates the team from having to get new stuff made every time they change a  sponsor.

My final comment is that while modern synthetic materials are wonderful for racing kit, being all stretchy and aerodynamic and whatnot, they have no place in clothes worn for other activities, such as taking drinks on the lawn.

I second Ian (who I've never met but hopefully will run into him soon) on KCC polos or t-shirts.  I know that we are club and not a racing team per se, but I've seen the Sixcycle guys with team shirts etc. off the bike, and I think they look pretty sharp even if they're just lounging around (or checking people in for races).

I'd love to wear something like that too (instead of the jersey) if I'm just watching races rather than being in it, especially if there are Kissenas in the field.
I could use a nice kissena drinking polo or drinking gloves or perhaps a drinking cap?
def. into this and short/long-sleeve t-shirts/zip hoodie, too....something with club name and/or other small detail would be sweet.  agree re: no sponsors, but would like it to at least say kissena.
