Will there be another order before weather turns cooler for CX season?
There will be one or two more orders this year depending on demand. I am likely to open an order in early September which would allow you to get cold weather kit in mid October
Patrick
Everybody knows cross starts in August #crossiscoming =)
That's good to know, yeah I didn't want to order colder weather gear in July, but definitely would be on board for early September.
The Team Kit store is reopening tomorrow. (Note: It might actually be open tonight as it is based on Hong Kong time). It closes next Sunday, so get your order in if you need new kit in time for CX season. We will have another order in October for Winter kit.

I just learned that Chris Young, or contact at Champion System has left the company. Our new contact for warranty and other questions is Ben Woodbury at  benw@champ-sys.com
you probably know, but worth mention that Ben is an old friend, he used to live in Brooklyn and rode/raced for BVF
Thanks a ton for opening this!

@eloy any recommendations for keeping the white jerseys "look sharp" after CX mudfest races? Even from the limited gravel riding I've been doing, it's looking off-white  :)

Size guides are here https://champ-sys.com/sizing-guide

Flow chart is attached and product descriptions are here https://champ-sys.com/custom-apparel/cycling.

@brian I find that it helpful not to let the mud dry on my kit. So I will run it under a faucet after I change or get it into the wash sooner rather than later. This helps the stains from setting in

@BrianStan As soon as I get home from any ride, I immediately rinse my kit in the sink. Soak it, squeeze it out, repeat a few times. Then I spray anything that looks like it might stain with OxyClean or a similar stain remover and toss it in the wash. Seems to help keep the whites looking white.
Profligate use of Shout
If we had bright orange jerseys and shorts they wouldn't stain nearly as much. I am just saying
i am the wrong person to ask
I see nothing wrong in that photo. A white jersey just means you didn't ride hard enough.
I find that skin suits seem to result in less mud/dirt/whatever remaining after washing.  But that does include not letting the wet skin suit dry out before washing.

For CX races, I have a wet bag that all my dirty gear goes in.  It stays damp because the bag is sealed.  When I get home, I immediately do a light wash of everything (soapy soak in sink or bucket). and air dry before doing a regular machine wash (spandex goes in sweater bags)

I'm also a Shout fan.

Below is our previous iteration skin suit.  It came out looking perfect
(That's HPCX on a Halloween in maybe 2011)

Thanks all, helpful for sure!

I need to be more careful about washing right after use (no washer in building). I've been trying to research what to do about dirt stains that have set in - there seem to be a number of options like using baking soda, vinegar, lemons?
I’ve used baking soda with some success. After Rainey Park a few years ago, I put these white knickers in a bin with hot water and a bunch of baking soda and kind of agitated it a bit by hand. I think it helped keep them white but they were already well worn after a long season.

That said, I’m thankful our shorts are not white.

Solid - good to know, thanks!

I'm stoked to say that after a few really tough months, things are finally back on track - won't be moving home with my folks after all. Excited for CX to begin.
Picked up my kit today and there are still t-shirts and hoodies that need to go home. Give Redbeard a hand and get yo stuff out of there!
Quick reminder: The current Kit order closes tonight! Get your orders in for the Fall/CX season
The August Kit order has arrived at RedBeard. If you placed an order, please head over soon and pick up your stuff. Also, some t-shirts and hoodies have not been picked up yet. Please pick yours up ASAP
