Pardon me, while I add to the confusion. I spoke to @PatrickGrehan on Saturday, but I haven't had a moment to look at the order until now.

Anyway, any significant difference between the Apex Winter Bib Tights, and the Performance Winter Bib Tights besides the price? I need a winter jacket and tights to ride in the winter, and maybe early spring races when temps are still in the low 30's...

For the jacket I was looking at the Performance Winter Jacket in Club fit, which I figure would give me some room to layer under it, depending on the conditions.

We placed an order for t-shirts and hoodies from a different source earlier this year. Because of the minimums needed we will revisit in the spring of 2020 to see if we have enough interest to warrant putting an order together

Can anyone please measure the length of their large bib short legs? I wanted to know whether I could get away with the regular length or to order one of the longer options.

large bib shorts, reg length: 10 inches from center of chamois to edge of shorts, measured inside out along the inner thigh seam. i'm 5 10, 32 inch inseam. i think these run on the short side.

A few pointers:
1. Check that you pick up your complete order and that each piece is accounted for. Make sure not to grab someone else's kit
2. Note that a slash through an item in the list (see below) means that it is on backorder.
3. Say hello to Kasia and Ilya and pick up any supplies you need.

The large bib shorts with +2.5 length are perfect. I think for my next jersey I'll need to also get the longer sleeves too.

I ordered small arm warmers after reading comments here and looking at the size chart. They fit fine if not a little tight around the bicep and being a little short. I may want to try mediums if anyone is willing to let me. This is making me realize I should hit the gym, or at least do a push up or two.

haha, I probably have some medium arm warmers you can try -- and might even be willing to exchange for small -- although mine would are used

The Champion System team store is now open through midnight Sunday February 16th. Expect delivery by mid March.

Helpful notes:

Choosing the correct proof for the item you want is not always easy in the Champion System store. Check out my forum post on how to avoid expensive mistakes

@Mark Taylor Are those the bib knickers or the tights? I had a similar problem with the knickers. They were loose around my knees. I emailed ben and he told me they had recently been redesigned and that others were having issues. He had me email him a photo and return them for credit. I got the impression that they were going to re-redesign them

I didn’t realize the problems with the winter bottoms went beyond the knickers. I recommend anyone who has knickers or tights that don’t fit well to contact Ben about returning them

Yup the long bib I got from my last order were loose too around the knees. I hate wearing them. So I guess let me email them too.

Hmm, I had no issues with loose knees on my winter bib tights. I ordered a large winter bib tights from the white kit store just this past order.

I have a pair of Winter tights that I got as a replacement last winter. They aren't loose like Mark's but they are kind of weirdly un-tight for smalls. Ben Woodbury, btw?

Hi all,

I am looking to place my kit order but would just like a little feedback. Based on their sizing chart, I should be a small but for comparison, in Rapha Proteam I wear a med bib, small summer jersey and medium long sleeve jersey. (5'7" 160lbs. 30 inseam 30 waist). In general, can anyone say if the CS stuff runs bigger than Rapha?
Below is what I am looking to order with a couple of questions, any input is appreciated.

Performance bib_medium_ how do the granfondo and veloce chamois compare?
Tech wind vest Race Cut_ Medium to layer under.
Intermediate Performance Jacket _Medium
Tech Pro Jersey Race cut small_ Can anyone measure the sleeve length? I am wondering if I should go for the longer arm.
small knee warmers.

Also, what is the word with the helmets? Will there be a group order?

Hi,

There will be a helmet group order. Will announce details in the next few days.

To answer some of your questions re: clothing.

1. Grandfondo vs Veloce Chamois -- Have both, my guess is one is nicer than the other, they are both good, can't really tell which is which

2. Tech wind vest. Basic gilet. One of the most versatile pieces I own. Great in white, but get it in blue. I wear size medium tech jerseys, but got the vest in small (YMWV).

Will add that I love my "Performance Wind Vest" which has pockets. The "Tech Wind Vest" is a classic gilet good to carry in a pocket. The "Performance Wind Vest" is thicker and has pockets, and is what I wear if I think I'll wear the vest the hole ride (both I got in small)

3. Intermediate Performance Jacket. Love it. Have one in white, have one in blue. Mine are size Small.

4. Tech Pro Jersey Race cut small. Most versatile jersey. I don't bother with the longer sleeves, nor will bother measuring it. Get the sleeves that better floats your boat. If you fit in the small for this, you will likely want the jacket and vest to also be small.

I don't know you, so hard to tell, for reference, I am about 146ish lbs 5'7'' For me, champ sys:

Tech Jerseys: Medium
Performance Jerseys: Small
Any Bib Shorts: Medium
Any Jacket or Vest: Small
Performance Skinsuits: Medium
Tech LS Skinsuits: Small
Tech SS Skinsuits: Medium

Everything race cut.

YMWV

I was about to ask for the XS Apex jersey since the Small winter jacket fitted big... using your rule of relativity I guess I should go up to Small on perf/apex and jackets and such on xs...

Ben ask me who is having an issue with their long bibs being loosed around the knees, he wants to resolve this all at once if possible.

I know @Mark Taylor had an issue, and so do I.
@RichFreeman I know you have one, do you need it fixed?

There are Performance and Apex jackets, available in blue or white, they will be thicker and warmer and the LS Tech jersey. If you want a basic LS jersey, then tech pro is where is at.
