Team Kit Order

Thanks Patrick. How do you order the all-blue bibs, is it Apex only? And can we order all-blue fleece bib?

I have to say I'd prefer to switch to all blue for everything, white kit is PITA.
The Apex and Performance Bibs don't have the white side panels. The Tech bibs have the white side panels. The Performance Winter bibs "should" be all blue. I emailed Ben for confirmation
Are these "PERFORMANCE Winter Bib Knickers" all blue?
Just heard back from Ben. The winter bibs are based on the tech bib proof. Therefore they have the white Kissena panel along the sides. They are not all blue
So non of the winter knickers or tights are all blue?
All blue everything. Lapassione makes blue leggings that match pretty well w KCC kit

or, you know, you can get the champion kissena leggings that match even better.
Patrick could we ask Ben to create an All Blue fleece bib?

this morning, before i knew about the last comments on this thread, all blue Kissena everything (including the leg warmers)

seemed relevant ;)
The issue with the fleece bibs is that they don't have the silicone leg gripper panel that the apex and performance bibs do. Therefore it would require a completely new proof. We can make this happen if the club/board wants this, but it couldn't be part of the current order as that is based on the existing proofs
^ Like Patricks comment if you'd like to see an all blue fleece bib!
What kind of cut is the intermediate jacket? Club or race cut?
Good news! The performance winter bib (in all blue) has been added to the current clothing order. Make sure to click the appropriate proof and select performance winter bib (like in the picture below)

I am working on getting all blue knickers and tights designed and approved in time for this order
Work harder😁
Thanks Patrick
Do you think you could ask Ben if he might honor the 10% discount on the new proof we added Patrick?
Jason - The intermediate Jersey is a long sleeve fleece jersey and is more of a club cut

What kind of cut is the intermediate jacket? Club or race cut?

The white intermediate jersey is great for those early/late season races
All blue tights and knickers have been added to the offerings in the current white kit store. You can choose between the traditional tights/knickers with a white background or the new tights/knickers with a blue background. Enjoy

Note that I have not heard back from Ben about extending the discount
Awesome Patrick !
Patrick, as the say in NZ, gronya mate! (Hey, it’s World Cup Rugby season).
The Kit order window closes tomorrow (Sunday). Don’t miss out. BTW, I put in an order yesterday and still got the 10% discount. This runs counter to what Ben told me, but hey, I’m not going to complain if they give us all a discount
Damn that was fast

Kit order just arrived at Redbeard today. Thing is, after 8pm tonight they are on vacation, returning Nov 19.

So... if you need/want your order before Nov 19, head over there today before 8!
The Redbeard crew is back from vacation. The October kit order is waiting to get picked up. Go pick up your new duds and see them for your other cycling needs
Look in your email inbox Saturday morning:

Hope you didn't blow all your dough on holiday shopping! Several people asked me to reopen the Kissena Kit store - so here is your opportunity to get kit for the Winter or Early Spring.

The
Champion System team store is open Saturday (tomorrow morning) through midnight Sunday December 29th. Expect delivery mid January (in 3 weeks). The next kit order will be in early February (so plan accordingly). Both the White and Blue Kits are available. Several pieces are available in both stores and there are a couple of duplicate proofs. You are good to go as long as you use an existing proof.

NOTE:
Members have the option of having kit delivered directly for an extra $30 or picking it up at RedBeard for free.

The White and Blue kits have to be ordered separately through the links provided below. Please race in our regular awesome kit but feel free to wear the blue kit when training, warming up for CX races, or lounging at your favorite Brooklyn donut shop.

To order, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
1. Click on the appropriate link:  White Kit    ---    Blue Kit

2. Under "Returning Customer" enter your existing Champ-Sys email and password. If you don't have one yet, enter the following temporary username and password (case sensitive):
   a. Username: Kissena
   b. Password: Boitano14
   c. You will be prompted to create your own new login and password.

3. Under "Kissena Cycling Club Store" click on "Order Now"

If you have any problems with your order, please call Customer Support at (402) 875-6588. Our contact is Ben Woodbury.

***IMPORTANT: If a note appears stating that an item requires an additional proof, do not order this item as it is not yet approved for Club wear.
I want a blue fleece jersey
what do I order?
@Mark Taylor Champ Sys calls their fleece jersey “Performance Intermediate Jacket”. Use either of the blue jacket proofs (not weatherguard)
Thanks
Does anyone have bibs I could try on? I'm concerned about size, but more importantly length. I saw that CS offers two longer lengths and wasn't sure which to order. I wear an L in these: https://www.pearlizumi.com/US/en/shop/men/pants-tights/pants/road/mens_elite_escape_amfib_cycling_bib_tight/p/11111712, but for  some of the more Euro kit brands I need XL.

As for length, my inseam is 38-3/4" and my thigh (from groin to top of knee cap) is 14-1/2". Can anyone advise?

And noob question: there are multiple categories with the same or similar names. When clicking on an item, one should check the proof image and only order from the items that are listed, and not any others, right?
A primer on ordering from the ChampSys store

Whether you are new or have ordered before, please check out the following, especially the part I labeled "IMPORTANT" below. I see members make errors on every order. It is worth you time to read through this.

Once you have logged in to the CS store, make sure you order from the selected proofs in the main area to the right of the screen. DO NOT use the menu on the left (see screenshot below). All the proof choices can be overwhelming. I suggest using the tabs (see screenshot) to filter the clothing category you are looking for.

Some categories (e.g. jerseys in the screenshot below) have multiple proofs. Some proofs are for a single item (e.g. the elite or mini jersey). Only use those proofs if you are ordering that specific item. Other proofs are used with multiple clothing designs (e.g. apex, performance and tech as well as long sleeve and short sleeve variations). If you hover above the proof and click on the magnifying glass (see screenshot below) you can see the proof details.

Once seeing the proof details (see below) you can check whether the proof applies to the item you are ordering. Each proof has labels that indicate what line (e.g. Apex, Performance or Tech) and variations (e.g. sleeve length) are included.

So far so good. Here is where things get problematic.

IMPORTANT: Read the following to avoid making potentially expensive mistakes

One of the confusing and irritating aspects of the ChampSys store is that when you click on any proof in a category (e.g. jerseys) ALL the available options in that category show up - NOT just the ones associated with that proof. So if you click on the elite jersey proof, you will see all 13 jersey variations available even thought that proof only applies to the Elite jersey. The opposite happens as well in that the Elite jersey (and other 12 options) show up when you click the proof for the Apex/Performance/Tech jerseys. (Note you will only see 8 at a time, scroll down for the full list).

This is a problem with the ChampSys store that they don't seem to be able to fix. This is where errors are made. Make sure that the proof and item you elect match up. How? If you pick an item that is NOT associated with the proof you selected you will see the term "reference proof" in red (see below).

In the example above, I have selected the Elite Jersey proof (see graphic), but you can see the title on the right is an "APEX Weatherguard Jersey". These could not be two more different jerseys.

If you see a "Reference proof" warning on the top left, you have inadvertently picked the wrong proof for the item you are looking to order. Go back and find the correct proof.

When this has happened in the past, our Account Manager at CS has usually fixed orders with missing/incorrect proofs.  One reason we have ended up with some many proofs (some of them overlapping) is when new proofs were generated by the team at CS due to the issue above. Makes me want to scream.

I suggest you tattoo this post to you forearm for future reference
