Team Kit Order

I still have some samples I haven't sent back yet, all in Men's Medium - race jersey, club cut jersey, winter jacket, and bibs. If enough folks want to meet up sometime mid next week after work hours or over the weekend, happy to meet up. If we do meet up at a coffee shop or something I suggest bringing your current CS kit that fits well (or if you're already in kit) to compare if you can't try things on.

For what it is worth, I'm usually a Small in CS race kit (approx 5'9/150lbs), and the Le Col Medium race jersey is too "loose" on me (relative to how tight I wear my kit), but a S or even XS would probably bet best. I haven't tried on the bibs but they also look 1 - 1.5 sizes too large compared to my CS standard bibs.
That's useful! I think I'll want to be sure that the S is a good fit for me before I splurge so maybe I'll pop by NYC Velo tomorrow. Will report back.

Also: thanks so much for all the work that went into this! Really like Le Col as a brand

I would be up for this next weekend.
Am I misreading the conversions. A small for bibs is good for a 30-32 inch waist?

The waist shows 78-82cm which is about 30.7 - 32.3" which is somewhere in the ballpark.

No local race on the cal, so next Sat or Sun post-ride coffee/brunch?
Is the 8-10 week lead time accurate ?

I think so, though I'm asking Charlie some follow up questions including this. I would hedge on the longer delivery time.

@Mark Taylor Charlie I confirmed this is accurate and includes shipping.
FYI if you have any issues or need to make any post order changes before the store closes, please DM here or on Slack and we'll work with Charlie to get things straightened out.
Hey folks, I have a family event on Sunday so seeing if there is interest in meeting up tomorrow afternoon, Saturday July 22nd to check out the sample kit I still have. We can do coffees and pizza.

Can find a central place in Brooklyn near the park and we can do coffees and/or pizza depending on who is coming and how much of an appetite you're bringing ;) .

Let me know on Slack or DM me here. Thanks!

let me know what the plan is happy to meet or even host at my place - I’m available before 3pm
Hey all, going to be at Van Leeuwen Park Slope, 2nd st and 5th Ave at 130p with kit. Come get a scoop and check out the kit. Recommended you bring kit that fits you well to compare with the men’s size M samples.

Slack/msg me if you’re coming!
Thanks @David Yang for putting this together. I am going all small for le col.

Now I feel fat.
Today is the last day for ordering, as Patrick reminded us of on slack.

I put together my order, but the delivery costs are quite high, at $36. Anyone wants to order together in order to share those?

agreed they are quite high.  Will bundling make a difference?
I expect them to remain the same, i can check when it get home
It looks like shipping stays the same no matter the number of items you order (I added 1 of everything and it was the same as just a jersey and bibs).

I'm down to combine orders.
@LennartZandbergen @GregHoge

I'm down as well.  How do we do it?

I think Greg ordered already for us. Maybe we can add to that order, @David Yang?
@mugwump send me an email

Anyone else with last minute orders before we finalize with Le Col?
Psuedo Team-kit order... We have water bottles! $10 each! I'll be away from Aug 3-14th but can coordinate pick-up/drop-off once I am back. Drop me a line here or on Slack and I'll get back to you once I am back!

Hi all, some of us received refunds for Le Col orders over the weekend. Unfortunately Charlie couldn't get them to bend on the 10pcs per item order minimum (irrespective of size). The only items that met those mins were short sleeve jerseys and bibs.

This means any of us who put in orders for any other items (e.g. skinsuit) were refunded on those other items *only*. If you also had jerseys and bibs in your order, those are still being fulfilled.

The board is holding our monthly meeting tonight so we'll discuss next steps with Le Col as well as Champ Sys. Stay tuned.

Champ systems seems a better option

@David Yang

Sorry that it's not going smoothly.  The board seems to have worked really hard on this.

Agree with Mark.
So, so SO much work goes into getting kit designed by a new manufacturer. I hope things work out.
