Will be heading to bear mountain...but in a car and hiking up/down. Have fun, ride safe, and watch out for the local cops - they WILL ticket you without hesitation.
@Ryan... Lamiosity! As you well know, there's always the stolen cable at Piermont Bikes... Although I guess to be fair, that might hold you captive if you needed to leave early. I'm shooting for 8am GWB! BTW it's true what David is saying about the cops, run a light or two abreast at your own peril.
Holy arm-warmers! Today was watch Ryan climb like an F-16 with full afterburners day — take note Kissena reining club champion Lenny Katz. Graydon was no slouch on his sweet Lynskey ti. We hammered back down 9W, encountering what seemed like some kind of patrio-military march across the GW. But still back in time to watch Robo-Horner tear the legs of Nibali.
HTFU Capitman - you dished out a lot of pain in your day!
I remember well all those rides up Alpine, Watertower, Bradley, where I just...couldn't...quite...hold your wheel!
well guys, i'm sure you hammered harder than a carpentry convention. however, you can only dream to achieve what i did on my solo ride: 79.9 mph. yes, that's right. strava is never wrong. never mind that i cannot find a "79.9 mph" entry anywhere in the speed chart for the ride. never mind that my phone is old and the GPS rarely works properly. never mind all that. today, i hit plaid speed.
I'm definitely going Sunday (BB 7:30a) -- I was just about to send out the feelers (you beat me to it, Patrick) - I've been in need of some hill work (i missed the hills last week), so I'll have to be taking a detour on Ash/tweed rd. Then, coffee break at Runcible Spoon or where ever). Let me know! cheers!
